OK. So let him run and let the voters of his district vote against him, if they’re so inclined. If they vote for him, they deserve what they get: A two-faced backstabber. But it’s their choice. Since when is cancel culture good either way.

One officer died the next day from medical complications after he was severely beaten by rallyers. Four others committed suicide, it is unclear of from guilt for not doing enough to stop the rally, or from guilt for helping create the rally. I imagine the feds are seeking those answers and eventually will report their findings/opinions.
If Cawthorn made the statements here, then if he is being challenged by Marxist/socialist/communists, then it would appear it is a direct attack on any kind of moderate political cooperation. The far left, a la Putin always wants to control the people with tyranny. Any kind of moderation is totally against their program. There was a dust-up in the Green Party when Jill Stein (GP presidential candidate) had a sit-down with Putin. People disturbed by her sitting with Putin while Ukraine was under attack, faced negative actions.
See my comment #46 regarding how the left treats moderates of any party. Extremists at either end of the spectrum help destroy their societies.

I don’t think 11 “voters” get to decide who committed an insurrection or rebellion. If so I think that all Democrats are guilty of insurrection and rebellion and therefore the party must be barred from any of its members holding office forever. Fortunately for everyone including treasonous Democrats there is a thing called due process. You can’t just decide to label someone a criminal because you don’t like their politics.

Insurrection. That is the key phrase word of the leftists. Please explain who was charged with insurrection on Jan 6 2021 and what person in Congress called for insurrection??? It’s all theater.

He should make a poster of himself in the wheelchair adjacent to one of Epps and ask “why hasn’t this guy been indicted for insurrection?”
The other poster should be him in a wheelchair juxtaposed to one of Ltd. Bird killing Awhile Babbitt and ask “Who is the killer on Jan 6th?”
