CNN’s chief media correspondent Brian Stelter said Friday on “Newsroom” that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) begging for forgiveness from Tucker Carlson is evidence the Fox News host is the new Donald Trump.
Stelter said, “Cruz folded like a paper airplane. I think what it shows is the Republican messaging about being tough on crime, which is something that’s gone back decades that Cruz was trying to lean into, has come up against this denial of the January 6 crime. So you have Tucker Carlson trying to take a position that what we saw with our own eyes didn’t really happen. Not that many police officers were injured, even though some of the officers that were attacked that day still can’t get back to work because the injuries were so severe. But Carlson’s in such profound denial about that, that he has to put on this performance and Cruz, absolutely begged for forgiveness.”

I have watched his show over the past 3 years. He’s fearless, and tells the truth.

Tucker is from a wealthy family. He doesn’t need the money. He’s also a Libertarian, not a Republican.
Yes Ted Cruz is so transparent its funny. But as someone said its always amusing to watch Cruz pour gasoline on himself and then light a match. 😏
The Tuckster has been extremely good for at least a year.
That said, for some reason I just don’t trust him. Rush Limbaugh didn’t either always referring to him derisively as “Chatsworth Osborn, Jr.”
And no, the Tuckster doesn’t even have Rush’s reach, let alone Trump’s.
