I think too many like Cruz consider themselves elites, and think all they have to do is pretend or BS to convince the “dumb” masses. The conviction in beliefs does not seem to be there from my watching of this interview. Where is the outrage that this congressional hearing is even taking place! Instead Cruz seems to join his elitist brethren in their attack against the Trump base, and now tries to say he really didn’t mean it.

Sorry, has nothing to do with me. He has just exposed himself (again) that he is not fully on our side, then tries to cover his tracks like so many others that claim to be carrying the torch of conservatism.
