Mayo Clinic is dismissing about 700 workers for failing to comply with a vaccine-mandate policy at the Rochester, Minnesota-based health system.
Employees had until Monday to either receive their first shots or obtain an exemption for medical or religious reasons, the StarTribune reported. Mayo Clinic said it granted the majority of exemption requests.

Now they’ll whine about a staffing shortage.
L
Keep,on firing and creating an avoidable shortage of workers. This nonsense has to stop.
Are we the only nation this stupid? Or are other nations also biting off their noses to spite their faces?
Just think of how the health of America has improved by the Mayo Clinic protecting us from unvaccinated people by reducing the medical staff.
I feel safer already./S
Class action lawsuit to follow.
Its all about the “money”, so go after their “money”.
Cutting edge medical system workers don’t want the shot.
“While Mayo Clinic is saddened to lose valuable employees, we need to take all steps necessary to keep our patients, workforce, visitors, and communities safe,” the clinic said in the statement.

This will work out as well as those vaxxed cruise ships.
Tell me again there is a shortage of beds and healthcare workers?
700? They KNOW SOMETHING.......................
What will ultimately happen is that these health agencies will have to quickly fill the voids they created with unqualified, slipshod slackers looking for work where no one else would hire them, for valid reasons. Low quality skill sets and lack of experience will ensure more harm to and deaths of patients.
Re: Cutting edge medical system workers don’t want the shot.
Shouldn’t that make anyone pause and question why?
A right wing medical doctor who has a radio show and podcast, Dr. Dave Janda “Operation Freedom” said he is ashamed of the way American doctors have either become “woke” or simply shied away from courageously defending the truth. They comply and change nomenclature to go along with nonsense and they know they are covering for politicians but are afraid of being cancelled or even losing their licenses. Examples:
The RNA experimental jabs are not a “vaccine.” People with the jabs are not immune to Covid as when a polio, smallpox or flu vaccination would protect them to an extent. Lockdowns do much more harm than good. Masks allow the virus to enter freely through the mesh.
What doctors are saying this?
Indeed. As more and more hangers-on sycophant hospitals and clinics have to buy into this farce and depend on the government subsequently having to find a way to pay them off from a BBB budget that didn’t happen, we will see them relent and seek ways to ‘call back’ these employees for one emergency or another. In the end, I don’t really give a crap about them. I never once felt Mayo et al were worth the reputation.

I'd be interested in how many of the 700 are doctors, nurses and other professionals, and how many work in housekeeping, maintenance and food services.
700? They KNOW SOMETHING
/\
This.
700 World renown mayo health care workers won’t take vax, would rather lose all an go live on the street,
,, I wonder why ( not).
Probably cuz they don’t want to die is my guess.
Or they have Nuremberg nightmares.
Our first responders who went to work every day right in the thick of it while everyone else stayed home sucking their thumbs and getting payed for it are given a big F YOU.
Exactly, and then their reputations will begin to dwindle, and their safety records will slide, and folks will, seek treatment elsewhere. That is what I mean by them biting off their noses to spite their faces. In the end they are doing themselves a great disservice.
Desantis has offered to,employ any fired health care workers and doctors and nurses. They should take him up on the offer, and move there, increasing the skilled positions more in Florida, making it a go-to place for medical procedures, whil, while, the mayo, clinic continues their slide into obscurity elsewhere
America’s social stability and thus rickety political accomodation is kept afloat by massive government debt, printed money and manipulated interest rates.
When that goes down, watch out.
