Communist recommendation to expand surveillance on American's because Pelosi didn't follow the warnings she was briefed on. I guess the unconstitutional Patriot Act is not good enough.

Mea culpa on the whole Patriot Act thing. What I (at the time) considered Cassandras warning if this should be turned against internal political enemies of the swamp dwellers.

Turns out they were right.

Welcome to the world of communism. If you loved slavery, you’re really going to love this.

Don’t worry there will be plenty of “true conservatives” who will enthusiastically support this legislation. “It won’t be used against me, I’m a good person. It’s only the bad guys there going after.”

So, I guess the People's House is just a silly saying, then. If Trump's 4 years accomplished anything, it showed how completely disconnected from the Constitution the politicians (and most of Washington) have become.

Trump was loved by the people and hated by the government (supposedly the elected servants of said people) so you are absolutely right.

Communism is great, it solves a lot of problems. You don't have to worry about food, clothing, money, and they got a health care system that ensures you'll never get sick again!

History has not offered one example of the democrats dream totalitarian nanny state coming to anything but a violent disaster. For such smart people they are inexcusabily ignorant.

Comrade! If you have nothing to hide you need not fear the government’s looking at you. It’s a small price to pay to save our ‘democracy’ from ‘insurrectionists’.

Weird. I can remember a time when the reason for having a government at all was to help ensure the security of the People.

What's that word for when the government is at war with its citizenry?

Write a law and let Congress vote on it.
It will be easier to spot targets for 2022.
