I do not write this article for the typical American Thinker reader. Like me, the typical reader already recoils in revulsion and fear about the direction this country and world are heading. I write instead for the Leftist sappers and monitors who watch what comes out in American Thinker either to pounce on it in trolling comments or simply report back to their overseers.
I want us all to engage in a New Year’s Day mental exercise and extrapolate where we will be—not as a country but as a culture—in 20 years. In that span, patriot conservatives may win a midterm election or two, and perhaps even a presidential election, but the culture will continue its 70-year trend.
Why? Because presidents and senators don’t (really) determine what is taught to your kids, what messaging is being spewed forth by the Mainstream Media, what poisonous social engineering projects corporate and foundation boards are wasting their (and our) money on, what morality is currently being wafted from pulpits.
So here are 10 predictions for 2040, though all bets are off if China and Russia fully realize just how broken we are, and militarily call our bluff. Their probable involvement in what is described below will, however, likely stay their hand, since they’d be fools to interfere with a foe who is intent on self-immolation

I don’t see that EVER happening. UN troops will be easy targets for the militias.
But when the USA collapses (very soon), the European Union and United Nations will follow. It will be the end of welfare. All the millions of illegal aliens pouring across the border will be the first to starve to death (or be shot while stealing food). Pain and suffering is most definitely coming.

1 is dead wrong. The majority of Hispanics vote republican now and that trend will continue. They are 65% European by DNA on average and intermarry with whites to a high degree. They have seen the “black experience” and they don’t want it.

The Bible predicts this continued turning away from the truth. Our future leaders are being taught a powerful delusion, socialism. I had a word of knowledge in the summer of 2020, when lawlessness went unchecked. Just as King Hezekiah prayed to be healed and God added 15 years, so it will be in these last years before judgment.
I pondered this new knowledge and the idea that a thousand years is like one day. The history of Western civilization can be separated into three sets of two thousand years each, before Abraham, after Abraham and after Christ. The powers-that-be crucified Jesus on Friday, April 3, 33 AD (see Larson). Jesus descended into paradise and on the third day he brought paradise to heaven along with the Old Testament saints.
If the age of grace is two thousand years, we have 2033 as the end year, followed by the seven year tribulation. The first 3.5 years will be peaceful as the Antichrist rises to global dominance. The last 3.5 years will be hell on Earth. That brings us to the fall of 2036 and the last 3.5 years before the return of Jesus Christ, the spring of 2040. We cannot know the day or hour but the season is not out of the question. 2040 is the year of a grand planetary alignment. June 17, 2 BC is the mostly likely date of Christ’s birth when Venus and Jupiter merged in the sky in the constellation Leo.
There will be signs in heaven and on Earth that can guide us to understand the signs of the times and the seasons. “Many will be purified, made spotless, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.”

Yes and no. Northern Mexico where Mexican-Americans used to come from was, I’ve been told, more “European” and people were easier to assimilate than people from lands further to the south. Assimilation will happen, but it may be harder than before.
These aren’t serious predictions.
Certainly all ten of them won’t happen. If you have a government that allows all these things to happen and still manages stay in power, its supporters aren’t going to want to break it up.
