President Joe Biden traveled to Delaware 31 times during his first year as president, spending the majority of his weekends away from the White House.

The president and First Lady Jill Biden arrived Monday at their home in Rehoboth beach for a few days with plans to leave Wednesday for their home in Wilmington.

The press bashed Trump for going to his hotels instead of Camp David. We noted that the President always has the Football nearby and a zillion people and gizmos nearby to do whatever he needs to do. He can do his job from wherever..he probably thought Camp David was bugged.

Do I think Jill et al are hiding Bidet's health problems from America? Yep. But puddin head going home doesn't bother there me, just like Trump going to Mar-A-Lago never bothered me.

Personally, I didn't like the frequent Trump weekend trips to Mar-a-Lago either. I wouldn't mind seeing congress pass a bill to put a stop to this practice and limit these weekend vacations and the amount of money that can be spent on them. If someone wants the responsibility of being president, he can spend most of his weekends at the White House, or perrhaps Camp David, which was specifically created to be the president's special "get away from D.C. for a bit" place.

This really isn’t a democrat/republican thing for me. I think it’s wrong in either case, and it seems to be getting abused more and more and ought to be stopped. The president is supposed to be serving the people and should be expected to make some sacrifices. Again, this is specifically what Camp David was created for, and the taxpayers already spend money to maintain and secure it for that purpose.
