I have said this many times, but it bears repeating: the shutdown policies that have devastated the lives of our children and young people were not just a blunder, but a crime. Jan Crawford of CBS put it well this morning on Face the Nation:

Heck, the point is so obvious that even the New York Times might be catching on:

In my opinion, the various governments’ responses to the covid epidemic represented the worst failure of public policy in the U.S. since (at least) the Vietnam War. And a number of other countries did even worse.
Frightening old people & children should be a prosecutable crime.

Homeschool parents everywhere are laughing at all the whining.
“We” have not done anything.
What our government has done to our kids is a crime.
Don’t include me in that because I did not agree to this or participate in it.
When I see people masking up kids, ESPECIALLY toddlers, I just have to fight the urge to smack them upside the head really, really hard.
I know a recently retired lefty English teacher. Moved to FL due to high taxes, etc. in the North East. Moved back to said region because they are convinced DeSantis was personally gonna kill them.
They are triple jabbed, still wear masks, still avoid restaurants, still get tested every once and a while, just to be safe.
Their FB was all about how eeeeevil Reps personally wanted to kill them with their Covid policies, etc. The k-12 system is better with them retired.
It is a Crime.
I agree. What has been done to children by evil corrupt politicians, and multi-billionaire globalist, would-be slavers, via CCP virus policies, is criminal.
All DeSantis did was prevent feds forcing people to take a death jab they don’t want. That equates to him murdering them, that’s the insane liberal mind right there.

I was a Lowe’s yesterday. Passed a guy with his two year old daughter all masked up and skeered.
The very next family had about 6 kids and were practicing their freedom. I didn’t ask but I’m sure they were homeschoolers.
Powerful, I thin the left is losing their narrative on this entire Covid moment in history. More and more it is looking like the blunder of a century.
I thought it was powerful too. Though there are two possibilities:
1. Even some in the Liberal media are getting fed up (which might signal the beginning of the end). On the surface, this certainly sounded like the case Jan was making.
2. True to form, the MSM is using the impact on THE CHILDREN as justification for stronger Government action and control.
I desperately want #1 to be true, but experience tells me tht #2 is more likely.
