Family and lawyer should be run over.
From the article: “Kasseem believes that the victim of the stolen van had left the keys inside of the vehicle and Kashontez and his girlfriend could not avoid the temptation of stealing it. He said: ‘The car was in the neighborhood and a group of kids; they saw the car and the temptation was there. Because of that, I lost my son.’”
‘Scuse me, but seems to me the parents of Kashontez and his girlfriend are to blame, for NOT teaching their children not to steal. A basic task of parenting is to teach your children right from wrong.
It was a gang action: the front fender knocked him down, the tire rolled over his chest, and the shock strut whacked him in the head. All three should face criminal charges. Car assemblers should have known they were creating a vicious gang, and should be barred from future employment.
What kind of shithole is Aurora? Seems like every week there is a new outrage.
Ya, sure - an “attractive nuisance” where the ‘victim’ had to deliberately approach the vehicle, peer in the high window, look for a small & partially concealed object, steal the van, then perform the obviously dangerous & difficult act of dangling from the front of a moving vehicle.
Just couldn’t resist.
There was a report a while back where someone came across a car with a sign on it that said “free car” and the keys were in it. Of course, he took the car and later found out there was a dead body in the trunk!
If the owner left the keys in the car they are negligent. Jury will put 80% on the their and 20% on the owner
Counter sue the F$%k out those idiots. The girlfriend ,her parents, even her aunts and uncles. Don’t let them up to breath.
If the owner had insurance the carrier must provide a defense and indemnity for a settlement or judgment based on the legal liability of its insured.
Sounds like Kashontez started out being tired and ended up being exhausted.
It’s a good case. A jury will find the kid 40% responsible, the theif driver 40% and the owner who left the keys in it 20%
Poorly written. Still not sure exactly what may have happened. There’s a girlfriend and driver, the dead boy was a passenger, the dead boy was hanging onto the car, or he was stealing it with the girlfriend. Which is it?
Anyway, this is a money grab. Can’t get any money out of the girlfriend (whom charming dad feels sorry for), or the “driver” if one existed, so go for the insurance of the theft victim.
Yeah, when it was all over he felt pretty run down.
I juz gon a take yo sht, savages.
Aurora...figures. That place is one big hood. The judge should throw out the case as frivolous and fine the person who started it. You can’t let people do stupid stuff and have no consequences. That’s how we get lawsuits like this.
OCT 18th??
What charges re piling up for the storage of the body????
Courts don’t decree the result of a case, unless no reasonable juror, Giving all inferences in favor of the party whose case is subject to dismissal, could not render a judgment. Thevjury decides whether or not there is a case, otherwise we have an elitist legal system like with most federal cases where only the judge decides.
Not at all.
His girlfriend told him to hit the road.
