State Sen. Doug Ericksen, a stalwart conservative, former leader of Donald Trump’s campaign in Washington and an outspoken critic of COVID-19 emergency orders, died Friday. He was 52.
Ericksen had said last month that he tested positive for the coronavirus while on a trip to El Salvador, although his cause of death was not immediately confirmed on Saturday....
...Ericksen, a Republican from Ferndale, had been in El Salvador, where he tested positive for the virus that causes COVID. He wrote last month to his Republican colleagues asking if they could help him get treatment....
...A longtime foe of environmental regulations, Ericksen was chosen by Trump in 2017 to be part of a transition effort to reshape the Environmental Protection Agency. He split his time between Olympia and Washington, D.C., during that stretch...

Not everywhere.
COVID is bad for some people. Remdesiver and a ventilator with no vitamins or therapeutics kills!

As I’ve told others, whether you are EGT’d or not, you should be taking the protocol laid out by Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance..... and keep some ivermectin handy to have ready to go at the first hint of a problem.
If he wasn’t vaxxed that would be the lead in the headline.
Was thinking the same....just wanting confirmation....which will likely be hard to find.
Careful. You’re gonna trigger a buncha nut jobs with that kinda talk
The roll of the dice goes both ways. Chosing not to participate in an experiment with no knowledge of the short or long time implications is one roll. Submitting to vax experiments equates to one, two and three rolls, which in all likelihood will become 4 by mid 2022.
Simple probability and statistics calculation can be used to determine the increased risk level of an undesirable outcome with each successive roll of the dice.
I have no facts concerning the Senator’s demise. What I do know is that I am attached to an O2 concentrator right now. Covid is stealth and easily dismissed as not so serious. An oximeter saved my bacon. I spent over week chasing deer knowing I had contracted it. Only after starting to feel fatigued did I check my O2 and realized 85 was a huge problem.
My guess is the Senator tried to push through similar to myself but unfortunately passed the point of no return and I strongly suspect he had some sort of underlying condition. Another possibility is he went for the risky early treatment that has proven to wreck kidneys in some.
We don’t know.
Probably didn’t want to take the risk of being vented and poisoned with Remdesivir.
To me, the lack of details surrounding his death indicates it was something besides Covid.
If it were proved to be Covid, they would be trumpeting the information far and wide.
More like his treatment options were limited. Like no treatment at all.
Why would he go to FL? Why not directly home, to WA?

Bingo!!
Yes, you are correct. Some countries are allowing negative PCR tests.
Dear Lord! I had worked with Doug since 1999 on rail issues, both freight and passenger. He was the “legislative shepherd” who guided our proposal for reactivating freight rail lines in the Cascade foothills through the legislature. I had hoped he would run for governor.
If his case was like most, he was unable to get early treatment. He’d have been better off in India.
El Salvador is one of the countries accepting 72-hr PCR test in lieu of vaccination proof.

So was the US.. That changed on Nov 8 when Bumbling Biden opened travel, from 72 to 24 hours prior to flight.
“Although U.S. citizens and residents are not required to be vaccinated to enter the United States from abroad, unvaccinated Americans do have slightly different COVID testing rules as of November 8.
“Currently, all international passengers flying into the United States who are age two and older—including returning U.S. citizens and permanent residents—must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR, antigen, or approved home or self tests) taken within three days prior to boarding their flight to the U.S.
“Effective November 8, fully vaccinated Americans will continue to be held to this requirement, but unvaccinated Americans will need to be tested within 24 hours of boarding their flight to the U.S. (versus three days, making it even more of a last-minute scramble).”
“Also exempt are citizens of countries with limited COVID-19 vaccine availability, which as of October 25 includes 50 countries with vaccination rates below 10 percent.”

He will never know he wasn’t vaccinated
You roll the dice getting vaxxed also.
Stop the nonsense.
Talking to yourself again?
You roll the dice either way. They are starting to try to pinpoint risk factors. My genetic test..which is a cheap version until i get the whole genome test...has me more suceptible to covid based on gene factors. The test has actually been pretty accurate.
It also pinpointed why i had a problem with another vaccine.
Its all a crapshoot right now...way too much unknown
He was not. Vocally against the vaccine.
