Sen. Elizabeth Warren just made the mistake of going after Tesla CEO and eccentric billionaire Elon Musk. He promptly destroyed her in response.
The conflict began when the progressive politician and “tax the rich” crusader tweeted out a Boston Globe news article about Musk being named Time Magazine Person of the Year for 2021.
“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else,” the senator wrote. (Warren is likely referencing illegally leaked IRS files that show Musk paid no federal income taxes in 2018 through legal tax minimization strategies and the fact that almost all of his wealth does not derive from traditional income — he pays a lot in other taxes.)
The irony of a career politician, who subsists off the taxpayer dime, decrying a wildly successful entrepreneur who has created countless jobs and innovations as a “freeloader” was simply too much for Musk to resist. With intoxicating levels of chaos energy and internet meme-lordery key parts of his persona, Musk is not one to take a slight lying down.

Well when you go up against the $300 Billion man, you shouldn’t be talking about being “rich” when you are worth under $10 million.
Why do you ask? Does he not know how to employ simple devices such as question marks?
You don’t remember his enthusiastic support of Obie? Then he turned capitalist for Trump. Now he’s somewhere in the middle. I don’t really care, it was just an observation. The Left was accusing him of being a flip-flopper in 2016, however.
Even Trump supported Obama at one time back then.
“Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”
As for the implication that he’s a fraud, Musk simply replied, “Stop projecting!” with a link to a Fox News article detailing Elizabeth Warren’s long history of falsely claiming to be a Native American.
When she speaks, The Squaw Squawks.
Well, whether it's "impressive" is a matter of taste and individual judgement, so your mileage may vary.
But any given US Senator has more power than almost any elected official in almost any country, and Fauxcahontas has A LOT more power than you do, or I do.
As Orwell had O'Brien say in 1984, "The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power."
In any fight, I’d back Musk over Senator Karen any day any time.
True.
And yet, she’ll be reelected continually as though elections had no purpose, and she was of a class of nobility occupying a gifted sinecure.
Regardless of how much Musk pays in taxes, he has ....paved an electric vehicle revolution that will do exponentially more to help the United States reduce carbon emissions than Warren’s virtue-signaling ever will.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Lizzy helped build the American Tower of Babel that is officially referred to as the Internal Revenue Code, and yet seems surprised at the results.
"The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain." That's from Scotty; I think it was in Star Trek 3.
This is typical democrat talking points about billionaires not paying taxes, such as Musk or Trump.
First they focus on a single outlier tax year where the guy has legally moved some tax payments to another year.
Secondly, they always ignore the fact the billionaire entrepreneur is employing thousands, all who are paying taxes. So their business is typically putting billions into the tax coffers, unlike the Warrens who only waste it.
Senator Karen has the US Marine Corps.
Don’t bet against the Marines.
Thanks for posting that. Lol.
Mr. Musk is smarter, more intelligent, a quicker wit, has more resources at his immediate disposal, he and his companies are doing very visible, very cool things. This is not a fight you'll win, in any way.
You mean like the 10 marines (out of 13 US soldiers) slaughtered at the Kabul Airport by ISIS in August?
As long as they allow fools and idiots to vote, Democrats will continue to be elected. It is simple as that. Their pool is getting larger. Each year two groups of indoctrinated fools and idiots are released into the voting pool. High School students and college and university students. Each year our ranks are thinned by death.
***through legal tax minimization strategies***
Sounds like the problem is in the IRS codes, not Musk’s strategies.
After every change in the IRS codes we see ads from tax Lawyers on “How to Protect Yourself from the NEW TAX LAWS!”
No, I mean the 180,958 remaining ones.
