If one examines the improvement in technology one sees the movement in reported tornadoes. When Doppler radar rolled out in 1988 we began capturing the EF 0 tornadoes. These make the line jump. It’s due to technology and more people that we’re seeing this.
Keep in mind official records go back to 1950.
Is what happened in KY and other states the norm? No. But unfortunately that’s weather.

Ditto Hurricanes and other weather related items.
Hurricanes do a lot of damage now, because there are cities on the coast now. Before there were cities, hurricane just leveled some trees and caused almost zero damage!
Tornado near Toledo, OH, in 1794 is documented only, because battle of Fallen Timbers was fought on its ruin.

What better way to further an agenda than by using a tragedy. Every gust of wind is caused by global warming. Every time a gun fires it’s gun violence. Everything you do is racist. Every death is caused by coronavirus. Every rise in inflation is caused by big oil. Every violent BLM or antifa protest is peaceful. Why do Democrats even have to open their yappers when we know exactly what they will say?
