A visibly frightened John Heilemann warned Sunday on NBC's "Meet The Press" that former President Trump will be in a stronger position to launch a "coup" in 2024 than he was in 2020 during a discussion about Barton Gellman's piece in The Atlantic titled "Trump's Next Coup Has Already Begun."

Anyway, for anyone who is counting recruits, I'm sure as hell not willing to take up arms for Donald Trump, or for any other political leader. Certainly not at this point, anyway.
It is all utter nonsense, but they desperately need this as an integral part of their psychological wellbeing.

I dislike intensely the entire concept of some "man on horseback" come to save us. The only kind of leader I'd ever follow for something like that is the kind of guy who didn't want that power, and had to be talked into it.

I clicked through a rerun of today’s MTP. I kid you not, what was once a news program runs multiple headlines under the guests that say things like “Republican Candidates Repeat Trump’s Big Lie. “
Then after insisting questioning the 2020 election is a threat to democracy, the topic and headline became “Is Trump Planning To Steal The 2024 Election?”.
They showed no hint of recognizing the hypocrisy.

If he’s really frightened maybe he should crawl back under his rock instead of appearing on television for all those “evil” Trump supporters to see.
The Leftists, RINOs and progressives always think that Trump will act the way they would act in his situation. That’s because the Swamp is the prime example of ‘Atlas Shrugged’ style PULL. But Trump is a business man who has always operated within the law.

Just from my own personal perspective, the willingness to take up arms is not for Trump, it is for correcting and excising the absolute putrid rot in our nation. Those feelings have been building since 2008. Trump was merely the catalyst and the stolen election the fuse.
