They were all talking heads who never ventured out into the field to gather news.

News always had a liberal bias. In the past they would deny it and tend to try to be sneaky about it. Today, it’s blatant leftist activism on steroids.

In their carefully clipped, dulcet tones, complete with properly concerned expressions, they read the words written by far-left young men and women who think the world revolves around them and their favorite Manhattan pan-Mongolian vegetarian restaurant.Might be an interesting experiment to put the people who write liberal garbage 'on air' so we can experiences a fuller truth. It would certainly assist with CNN establishing credibility.

The idiocy grew. Fifty years ago, we all pitied the Village Idiot. Twenty years ago, he was featured as the “colorful character” in news reports. Now he has his own weekly show on MSNBC.Oh, that is good!

Did she move to CNN?

I’d be happy if they brought back the “old” Headline News.

I’d be happy if they brought back the “old” Headline News.CNN early on was in the business of providing cable news 24/7 and staffing to report on news across the country and globe. As it's influence grew the powers to be morphed it into a tool to influence people instead of reporting news. In today's market people aren't interested in having leftist activists ram their opinions down our throats often in a corrupt manipulation of reality.

“It drove ratings and ratings are everything.”
Which is why the news media hypes everything from the weather report to lost dogs, and they LOVE mass shootings. Serial killers not so much until they are caught.

If I remember correctly, Wolf was the voice and face back here in the USA, kind of managing each news report from different places as it was going on. But he was in Atlanta.
Peter was hanging out the window and Bernard was under the bed in that hotel. Been in that same kind of spot myself once.
