Judging by my parents and their friends, 75 is the age where you really have to convince me you belong in a high stress decisive decision style job.

Age discrimination. Some 80 year olds are like Biden and should not be in office. Others are experienced, wise, energetic and more than capable. Select on the person, not the age.

I actually favor non retroactive age limits for judges and federal office holders.
We usually don’t realize we are getting senile. We have inflated senses of our abilities. And our handlers are too dependent upon us to state the obvious.
Like a law forbidding you to run for federal office after age 70. Judges go part time if they want age seventy to eighty but then must retire. Supreme Court mandatory retirement age 75.
Especially senile retards do not belong anywhere near the Whitehouse.
