Meadows is probably confused on his timeline.
The Post is reporting what The Guardian is reporting from reading, I am sure very carefully selected and out of context sentences, of the book.
So what does Meadows really write in the book?
Can anyone on here, or anywhere, provide a book, interview or anything else where Democrats seemed so enthusiastic about talking smack about another Democrat?
I guess, I can only think of Harris trying to call out CornPop during a debate, but obviously that wasn’t too big a deal given where she is now.
More on the book’s publisher...
Considering the involvement of people who worked for Simon & Schuster (now owned by Bertelsmann) and Hachette (owned by Lagardère), I smell a rat.
The headline doesn’t square with the story.
Here is what Trump said,
“The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News,” Trump said Wednesday in a statement released by his Save America PAC. “In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate.”
There is no indication that Trump had the virus only that he tested positive for it using the notoriously inaccurate (The PCR test has been discontinued by the government because it is so inaccurate.) PCR test which was followed immediately by a much more accurate test showing a negative result for the virus.
Trump can easily disprove this if he so chooses.
And the big story on Action News: “Who cares?”
Media is trying to get pro jabbers to hate President Trump.
Meadows admits that the first test came in positive and then a second, more accurate test was negative. If the first test was a false positive then no, Trump didn’t test positive before the debate.
Meadows is trying to inflate his importance and grasp and control of all things, since this particular event, in the scale of events, amounts to a hiccup in a hurricane.
Is there no one, who worked with Trump, that knows how to keep their big yapper shut? Meadows should have never revealed Trump’s medical status with COVID. . especially when the testing has been so inaccurate.
Donald Trump should henceforth never be allowed to make staff hiring decisions.
His wife Melania should do that.
She’s the street-smart one.
Does Meadows plan to be a Mike Pence supporter?
Is that what this ‘throwing of little mudballs’ all about?
Based on the way Trump looked at that first debate, he had something going on.
I don’t know why Meadows would have even brought this up as it’s not really that important now.
Meadows has been pretty loyal to Trump even when Trump was saying, without proper evidence, that fraud cost him the election. By Meadows reporting this information, it forces Trump on defence by talking about what test was relevant etc. and takes everyone off the message of Biden’s screw ups.
In my mind and when I go back and think about what happen in those days, Trump is actually lucky to be alive after that Covid incident.
Which is also what Meadows' book stated - the second test done was negative. The press cherry picked what they reported and now Trump is mad at Meadows. He of all people should know better than to respond to the media narrative.
You do know the news media will pay for a story bigger the story the better the pay off.
National Enquirer no worse than the MSM.
I would guess one the the MILLIONS of false positives was occurred by Trump & a subsequent test showed he was NEGATIVE.
Another book about Trump. I had better get on the stick and start writing before I’m the only one who hasn’t written a book about Trump.
