Trump calls for National Guard to help stop 'smash-and-grab' looting: 'It is all not even believable'
Washington Examiner ^ | 30 November 2021 | Matthew Miller, Social Media Producer

Former President Donald Trump called for states to deploy the National Guard to help deal with rampant retail looting, or "smash-and-grab" incidents, in a Tuesday statement.

Trump said that if the Democratic politicians in charge of cities where the mass lootings are taking place don't take action, the National Guard "must be called out."

“If Democrats don’t immediately stop smash-and-grab robberies, which are taking place in their cities, the National Guard must be called out. There has never been such a thing that has happened in our Country," Trump said in the statement. "Large numbers of stores are leaving San Francisco and other cities. Some chains are closing most of their stores, it is all not even believable.”

I wonder if Trump really knows what he is doing.

You don’t send the military in to do local enforcement’s job.

The national guard isn’t needed. What is needed is a fleet of moving trucks for the few remaining conservatives in these areas.

Perhaps Amazon’s Bezos is funding all these physical retail store attacks to drive more Sales to Amazon. It wouldn’t surprise me.

Hey, smash and grab dudes: Why not hit the gun stores? Think of all the great guns you could grab. And you don't have to worry about the owner or employees being armed - it's a little-known fact it's illegal for them to actually have loaded guns inside the stores.

So what are you waiting for? It will be like taking candy from a baby.

What if the locals need assistance? Doesn’t the state step in?

Look what happens during hurricanes/disasters. National Guard assists, typically, if needed.

DannyTN''s anti-organized looting plan

  1. State legislatures need to immediately impeach any DA's who are failing to prosecute according to the law. No sense in asking law enforcement to risk their lives if you aren't going to prosecute.
  2. Ditto for mayors and police chiefs that refuse to enforce the law, once prosecution is assured.
  3. Identify the most likely targets.
  4. Increase in-store camera surveillance and recording. Goal is to gather prosecutable proof and to separate guilty participants from innocent bystanders.
  5. Increase parking lot camera surveillance. Have computer monitoring identify vehicles that aren't showing clear tags, or groups of vehicles that enter a parking lot that fit the profiles of the looter gangs.
  6. Develop early alarm systems. In addition to the alarms raised by the software above, store staff need to be able to trigger silent "suspicious activity" alarms.
  7. Police presence need to be maintained nearby, ready to pounce and round up the whole gang.
  8. Have security guards in the parking lots, affix tracking devices to suspect vehicles while looters are still in the stores. Track them back to their base of operations, and ensure none get away.
  9. Install fences that spring up from the ground outside the store to catch the thieves as they are exiting. I would just have trap doors that lock the thieves in the stores, but that could create dangers for store workers.
  10. Work with insurance to help them foot the bill. Pass 3 strikes and your out laws for looting related crimes and misdemeanors.

you do when local enforcement isn’t doing their job

of course, it could result in ‘bad optics’ as some reparations looter gets photographed getting shot by a Guardsman.

but since President Trump isn’t in the office... then it doesn’t matter

How is Trump getting his message out?
Is he using this Matthew Miller’s account?
That must be a very secure account.

Not sure he is funding them - but he sure is benefitting from them. Imagine all the folks in Nebraska, who were never even going to be caught dead in a Nordstrom’s in SF seeing this and simply saying screw it - I’ll go to Amazon or WalMart.com. Retail has become a total bloodbath - what else could go wrong?

Who here remembers the Viet Nam protests of the 70s? I lived in Carbondale IL when the National Guard was called out to try to keep the piece. (Fun fact: they were housed in the Girl's Gym for several weeks. And there were several teen pregnancies that resulted...but I digress.) Tear gas, the works.

Then there was that little problem at Kent State.

So there is precedent for calling out the Guard.

Yup, the best thing that sane citizens can now do is to peacefully separate from the madness and all who support it.

The Free States Of America would draw to its bosom all who cherish freedom, responsibility, sanity and love of God, family and country... we all know what sort would gravitate to the socialist states... they would soon collapse in an epic fail that would serve as a warning to future generations.

I have a home near Carbondale, it is in Marion, a nice area that is blighted by the madness that is Chicago...

Find out where they are organizing and lie in wait.

The FBI has the tools but they are busy harassing PTA moms.

“Police! Get your hands up! You are all under arrest!”

...and the first one who disobeys the commands, shoot them dead and zip tie the rest. Charge them all with domestic terror.

Rinse and repeat.

Gonna have to disagree Trump. These leftists voted for this. They can embrace the suck! If they keep getting bailed out, why change?

Trump (still) doesn’t get it. The riots and looting are a symptom. The cause is government corruption at the fed/state/local level with considerable chicom influence. Until Governors and/or mayors, corrupt DA’s etc are rounded up and dealt with as conspiring to foment the conditions that caused unchecked rioting and crime, like no-bail release, tying the hands of law enforcement, beating the drum of racism, then the problem will never be solved. Also the plug needs to be pulled on the marxist money machine. Arrest Soros and eliminate all non-profits, regardless of cause or political affiliation. And before anyone gets upset, remember the sage words of Colonel Jessup.
