seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s many years ago. I just don’t
remember the particulars now.
As for Sabrina, there wasn’t any underage shenanigans going on
there, unless we’re talking about adolescent and young adult
promiscuity.
I did not see the younger male figure as in his mid 30s. It
seemed to me he was playing a role in his mid 20s, and
Sabrina caught his eye when she was out of high school. Now
I could be estimating that low, but even if he was playing
a 30 year old guy, 30 and 18 is legal and above board if
she is not being abused. He wanted her, but he didn’t
force himself on her then pass her around.
I don’t see that anywhere close to what was taking place in
the situation talked about in the courtroom in this trial.
We’re talking about 14 year old girls and adults in their
mid-30s. These girls were passed around from man to man,
and it sounds like the older women were happy to participate
also.
There were no offerings of money in Sabrina. The girl was
not shuffled around between men.
I’d at least take that one off your list.
As much as I might not think a mid 30 year old man and an
18 year old girl is kosher, it’s not what was going on here
at all.
Not that it is the same but that “pairing”of a male abuser with a female to lure and abuse was seen with Ian Brady and Myra Hindley back in the sixties. Horrible people murdered the victims in that case but that strange duo.

Having been around the block a few times, I suspect that most of these "girls" were runaways who had been living on the street and making money through prostitution.
Their parents were nowhere in the picture and the young women did not want to see them any longer.
Somehow I doubt the court will allow any questions on the family status of the "victims" or how they supported themselves prior to this time.
We will see if a good defense lawyer can produce a slip-up which will open the door to these questions.
A 14 yo being groomed to accept sexual abuse is not the same as an adult female making a calculated trade.
We don’t know why she was there. Maybe pimped, maybe forced by parents. Even if she was “willing” at some point then that participation was made by sexual grooming.
That is because the alleged clients would sue - and win - for defamation.
These alleged crimes are not verifiable - this particular crime happened almost 30 years ago.
These alleged crimes are being revealed so the alleged victims can sue Epstein's estate.
Epstein paid off several dozen young women around 20 years ago - but he never admitted any guilt.
The women who are testifying now failed to get in on the first settlement - or - they are coming back for a second bite of a much bigger financial apple.
I am completely neutral on all of the testimony.

what we do know is what she herself said and what she did, and her expressed feelings as she recounted it, as reported.
With Epstein dead, what happened to his estate? Was it all seized by the government?
Is there the chance that Ghislaine could be acquitted AND the accusers offered a settlement from the Federal Government?
Sounds weird (maybe it’s impossible) but, anymore, the weird seems to happen more and more often.
As of today, there are no grounds for seizure by the federal government, and no way the feds can distribute money to anyone.
However, there are claims against the estate, so it is in legal limbo until those claims are defeated, settled, or withdrawn.
14,15,16,yr old girls today certainly know about sexual advances. I don’t call them ‘children’ in how they conduct themselves today. Groomed or whatever reasons they kept going back somethings just not kosher thus far in these happenings.
Ten years ago while working at the mall....a TV station disguised themselves as seeking Models to see how many girls would follow them out of the mall. Despite all the warnings at that time every single one of them followed the man out of the mall to the van.
What I sure would like to know are details of the sources and flow of money. How does a perverted couple who seem to be busy all day long engaging in finding ‘candidates’, grooming, orgies and all the related activities of ‘sex on a grand scale with all kinds of people who they take on as slaves in multiple locations around the world’ etc. afford to do what they are doing. This all looks like massive amounts of money going out without any money coming in.
Were they wealthy enough from former lives and/or inheritances and investments that they didn’t need to work and so could just engage in sexual activities all day long? Or were they really in the blackmail business on a massive scale.... and how on earth was that sustained? How many fish did they catch and how many coins did this turn up? I suppose the fish they caught would not exactly be inclined to report them and so that opened the door for catching more. Or was Epstein really a brilliant investor/entrepreneur who only needed to work a couple hours a day to keep the money flowing that fed this massive machine of money flow?
How did this work? Well, we’ll never know the details of this but this sure would be interesting to know as this goes right to the heart of why what they were doing was possible...
There’s a good documentary on the Epstein’s Florida case on Netflix. Basically one high school girl was lured to Epstein’s house to give him a massage for $200. Then she was offered $200 for recruiting other girls. It was like a Ponzi scheme. Hundreds of girls were molested. Epstein was eventually arrested and tried on one count of solicitation. He got a slap on the wrist as the federal attorney dropped the charges.

The reason minors are minors and can’t give legal consent or enter into contracts is because minors are easily manipulated, coerced, or forced. They can be cheaply bribed with cash, gifts, and promises. They can easily be coerced with threats, even threats that seem outlandish to an adult.
I really hope you are not blaming the children for what these monsters did to them. I believe you are not.
This is typical Democrat elite behavior. I think. The whole lot of them are sex fiends.
These monsters had it down to an art, even to the point of using puppies as props. Psychopaths are like that. They are exceptional at learning how to manipulate and coerce their victims and take great pains to perfect their art, though it comes naturally. It is no work for them at all.

Some young people are naturally cynical. Some are well trained to by parents to be wary of strangers, especially “Greeks bearing gifts”. Many many young people are just gullible, not having enough life experience to recognize dangers. Many of them had to burn their fingers on the stove top a few times before they learned to pay attention to Dad’s warning. Some never learn.
I think a lot of young people also feel kind of “invincible”, and have a false sense of their own defenses, ike they can overcome any moderate danger that comes their way. They have no clue.
