The Federal Trade Commission said Monday that it is investigating the causes behind ongoing supply chain disruptions and how they are "causing serious and ongoing hardships for consumers and harming competition in the U.S. economy."

The FTC said it is ordering Walmart, Amazon, Kroger, other large wholesalers and suppliers including Procter & Gamble Co., Tyson Foods and Kraft Heinz Co. “to turn over information to help study causes of empty shelves and sky-high prices.”

That’s it, flood the economies with trillions in “stimulus” including billions in paying millions of folks to just stay home and spend their government subsidized incomes, while other workers are locked out of jobs the economy needs, first due to “lock downs” and then due to various “health” “mandates”, all creating supply chain issues along with too much artificially created money chasing too few goods (standard inflation cause) and then you who created all this want to suddenly question producers why prices are high.

We are definitely being governed by ignorant and insane people.

I was at Safeway two weeks ago. No whole hams. Someone else asked the manager about that. He replied that he had ordered fifty hams two weeks previously, but had not received any.

Does the FTC have the authority to order this?

“We’re a banana republic.”

Biden isn’t fit to run a fruit stand.

Manufacturing is really taking a hit. No raw materials lack of computer chips. Small manufacturers who made assembly parts are gone. My deliveries that took 3 weeks are now 16 - 20 weeks and getting worse as I type.

Standard Issue 1970s Era Democrat Marxist propaganda ploy.

Create a massive mess with bad polices then conduct show trials in Congress blaming everyone else for the mess the Democrat Marxist party politicians created.

#6: "The Apparatchiks are going to get right on it. Next up: A 5 Year Plan to Restock the Shelves."

Yeah, that's the ticket /s.

Funny that we never had any of these problems when President Trump was in power. Now we are serfs under a Communist system where the economy is run by the Communist Central Committee, the same group which tell their Dementia Dummy what to do.

Declaration of Independence.

He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.

My main grocery store is Fred Meyer, owned by Kroger. I have noticed very few empty shelves, nothing like last year’s panic buying of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer. I have seen a few small gaps in the shelves, and before Thanksgiving, they ran low of a few Thanksgiving-related items, which is normal. The same with sale items - sometimes they sell out quickly because people buy four or five of them. This sounds like more of the Biden administration’s smelly behavior.

Apparently business can go almost a year with low supply and not go under. All the while complaining labor is in short supply and costs too much.

Boats are stacked offshore.
Trucks are waiting to pick up.
This isn’t difficult.

Prices are up because supply-and-demand is a thing.
