After VA Elections, Democrats Heard the Message. They Just Don’t Care.
Townhall.com ^ | November 30, 2021 | Sean Spicer

Posted on 11/30/2021 3:54:32 AM PST by Kaslin

On November 2nd Conservatives across the country celebrated as we watched Republicans sweep the top three statewide offices in Virginia, among several other shocking victories on election night. This was a resounding defeat of Democrats’ radical, progressive agenda and Americans delivered their message loud and clear: The Democrats have radicalized and pushed too far with their agenda. Despite clear warning signs that Democratic politicians are out of touch with the average American and focused only on the elites in the weeks leading up to these elections, the usual suspects at CNN and MSNBC blamed the results on racism and privilege, all while denying any wrongdoing by the Democrats. Instead, they praised the Democrats’ messaging and insisted they need to double down on their progressive, failing platform.

Certainly, many media types on the Progressive left haven’t gotten the message about how unpopular their agenda truly is with Americans, but I can assure you that resident Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi know exactly what is coming in 2022 – a red wave. But instead of listening and adjusting their agenda, they are doubling down and will stop at nothing to pass as many progressive, liberal wish list items as they can before relinquishing the levers of power. While many Conservatives seem to be content to declare victory, there is still much more work left to do to stop the Democrats from radicalizing America and getting individuals addicted to big government.

What evidence is there to support this? Look no further than Pelosi’s first press conference after the elections. When asked about the so-called bipartisan infrastructure bill and the so-called Build Back Better Act just two days after stunning Democratic defeats, Speaker Pelosi emphatically said, “we’re going to pass both bills,” despite the clear message sent from voters rejecting this radical agenda.

The following day, 13 House Republicans voted for the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package, of which only $110 billion actually goes toward infrastructure. If all Republicans had voted against the bill, alongside the 6 Democrats who also voted against the package, the vote would have failed. Mark my words, Republicans can’t afford to rest on the laurels of the victories we witnessed and get comfortable. If we do, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will change America as we know it.

Democrats will make every effort to pass their major progressive agenda items before the 2022 midterms. Now that the House has passed the largest social spending expansion since the Great Society, next on the docket will be their continued effort to make it easier to cheat in elections. Even though they’ve already failed to pass legislation on this multiple times, they will not stop pushing. What is worrisome is they’re getting closer – with Republican help. For example, recently, Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski voted for H.R. 4, which changes voting criteria. This is not acceptable. Republicans must stand firm in this effort, or they can kiss honest and fair elections, and Republican victories goodbye.

After they change the way we vote, Democrats will move to solidify their majority by making Washington, D.C. a state. Democrats often talk about how they just want to give the citizens of Washington, D.C. the right to representation in Congress, but what they really want is another two guaranteed seats in the Senate. Yet another way the Democrats hope to radicalize America and change the foundation of democracy that our Founding Fathers laid down for us.

If Democrats just want representation for the citizens of Washington D.C., then they would support a plan proposed by Republicans that actually follows precedent. In 1835, the part of the district that was originally taken from Virginia that created the District of Columbia was ceded back to Virginia when legislators realized the land there was unnecessary. Republicans’ plan would retain a federal district containing the Capitol, the White House and the national mall, and retrocede the rest of the district back to Maryland.

If this plan was adopted, the citizens of Washington, D.C. would have all the rights that Democrats claim they support, but by doing it this way, Democrats wouldn’t have an additional two Senate seats, so they don’t support it. Make no mistake, this is an obvious power play by Democrats, and they will do all they can to make it happen while they still can. Congressional Republicans cannot allow themselves to be bullied into voting for this plan.

These examples are just the tip of the iceberg. Democrats will do all they can to make sure police departments are defunded, the right to religious liberty is significantly curtailed, open borders become commonplace, energy sectors are destroyed, and much more, which I detail in my new book, Radical Nation: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s Dangerous plan for America. Sure, the victories we witnessed this November were promising and provide optimism for 2022, but they won’t mean anything if Democrats completely remake America in the meantime and implement policies that would make America a radical nation.

They act as though elections have no consequences.

I wonder why?

Arrogance. Many of them truly believe that the only reasons anyone could oppose their policies are ignorance or malice. The idea that there could be a principled opposition never occurs to them. The same could be said for some extremists on the right.

Because the Deep State™ does the left’s bidding on auto pilot like an independent Al-Qaeda cell. The elected Republicant’s cannot do a thing about it.

The system continues to be rigged and we just go along believing in the magic of voting.

Well, what's the alternative? Letting Rat welfare voters swarm the polls so their candidate wins in a landslide? I will continue to vote conservative (not RINO) until I'm 6 feet under.

That is being taken from us, forcefully and under the color of law.

Who is stopping you, me, or any other conservative from voting? And how?

Trump tried but even his own party refused to back him. And his judges have been disappointing to say the least.

I agree; Trump's lack of leadership and failure to unify his own party was disappointing to say the least. Maybe it's time we looked for new blood for 2024.

Not a whole lot left, is there?

We have FR and we have each other's backs. That's not nothing, if you'll pardon the double negative.

Side note: What community are you referring to in your tagline? I've only ever heard LGB refer to the homosexual community and I doubt that's what you're referring to.

“I agree; Trump’s lack of leadership and failure to unify his own party was disappointing to say the least. Maybe it’s time we looked for new blood for 2024.”

Trump did his part by getting 11,239,491 more votes than his first win. The well-entrenched establishment worked against him, of course, he was never going to win over the Republican establishment. No outsider can. So, by new blood, I guess you want a Chris Cristie type.

The Republicans have allowed voter fraud for decades (JFK lost). It is built into the system. The well-entrenched establishment determines who wins elections, not the voters.

Trump won in 2016 on a fluke, Hillary had a 92% chance of winning, they got lazy and lost. That is why they spent all their effort for years trying to destroy Trump’s presidency (Rep and Dems both).

The reason that the Dems are not scared of VA, is because they know they can by turning up their voter fraud machine at any time. They didn’t dump 500,000 extra votes in VA this time and Youngkin won. Youngkin is an establishment Republican, so they threw the Rep a bone.

The cheating was unprecedented. The dems increased their turnout by over 25% in 2020. The VA governor claim is also nonsense. Trump had more than 300,000 than the weak Youngkin. What made the difference is the Republicans had poll watchers and lawyers at every mail-in / early voting place for weeks. The dems could not add an additional 500,000 vote dump.

I put some numbers together on how massive the cheating was in the battleground states. Remember this growth is on top of normal cheating the Dems always do.

15,157,659 (2020) - 12,097,016 (2016)= A 3,060,643 Dem Voter Participation Gain in the 7 Battleground States, up 25% as opposed to the normal (with cheating) 2-3% gain. Biden beat Obama in every black community in the nation. Nationally, Biden exceeded the last election votes totals by over 10,000,000 with winning the fewest counties in Presidential history. He won 10% fewer counties than Obama, yet massively received more votes in these minority counties (when Obama was the great savior of the black community).

Before anyone says well they had more mail-in voters, of course, they did, that’s how they cheated! They dumped around 500,000 extra votes in most states except two (those dumps happened early morning in a few hour span). The two left they only added a few hundred thousand.

One thing we are letting slide is Facebook’s $400,000,000 contributions in staffing the cheating. The cheating was well funded by big tech along with the censoring. I don’t think the dems would have been able to cheat so massively without Facebook’s help.

The problem is that Democrats run for election to advance an ideology; Republicans to advance one’s own carrier. The asymmetrical results are clear to see.

“Democrats oppose democracy.”

No, Democrats love democracy. Democracy is mob rule.

Democrats oppose America and the Principles upon which it stands.

Just what are these “asymmetrical results”?

Unless they are exterminated, they will lie in wait under their rock until they are reelected.

The damage done will only be partially remedied and there is residue to be built on in the future.

Apathetic conservatives never understand the reality of incremental change over time. Apathy has destroyed America

No one is “stopping” us...but they are flooding the results with fake votes and judges don’t even want to look.

Clarification: Democrats support democracy only when it works in their favor; when it doesn’t, they have no problem getting their way by any means regardless of democratic outcomes - even if that means cheating an election, then depositing the VP to appoint an unelectable (even by cheating) preference, then depositing the POTUS to seat that unelectable.

Democrats don’t care about mob rule. Sure, they’ll go with mob rule if it’s useful.

Prediction: Come 6 months from now (or less, maybe days), the sitting POTUS will not only be unelected, but someone clearly unelectable.

Just what are these “asymmetrical results”?

The constant advancement of leftist causes when Democrats are in charge; a temporary halt of this movement when Republicans are in charge. There is never any real effort to reverse this leftist movement. Can you think of a single major leftist achievement that the Republicans have reversed or eliminated in the past 70 years? All we can content ourselves with is slowing down the advance of the left. And even this is becoming harder.

I’m not disagreeing with you but the way to change it as I have said before is to elect the right people and then hold them accountable.

If that happens a few times (it is beginning to happen now) the ones who lie to get elected will stop doing so when they know they will get the boot next election cycle or sooner if a recall is appropriate.

The way to get the right people is not to settle for those who will only block more movement to the right. Rather we need those who will start removing leftest programs by their roots, even eliminating whole departments. If this COVID scam has shown anything it is that the federal government controls too much of the society just by its shear size and ability to threaten the livelihood of anyone who will not comply to its dictates.
