Read a book titled, “The Fire Inside”, about firefighters and paramedics. It was published in 1996 I think, but it was excellent and sad. The author normally wrote about baseball, so it was a big switch for him.
I’d hoped to become a first responder, but I stupidly got the fake vaccine, so now there’s no way as I am right now. The lymphadenopathy is pretty serious, and I was diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday, but I usually get it once each year.
I’m a little desensetized for various reasons. The sight of something won’t get to me, but the smell probably will.
Yes, that case is a total heart breaker. I wish I had never read about it, especially as it first appeared on the same page with the lesbians who killed a baby (England) and that heart wrenching case in Houston (those poor kids!). In the other two cases, it was “mommy’s new friend”.
The perp is a black white supremacist, and that's pretty rare.
Same with the six year old boy in England who was abused and killed. Wrenching. 😢
My heart hurts for the mother.

I got to go on a run like this as a Firefighter, grand daughter’s boyfriend killed a whole family. We found a little girl about ten wandering around in the dark, and finally got her to tell us enough to find her home. We left the city limits that night to find the place. Grandpa dead, Grandma shot, Aunt Lucy(not correct) dead, it was a real classy grandkid. Just life in the big city. I spent 25 years in the hood because there was never a dull moment, lots of adrenaline rushes.
I read about that particularly vile piece of human waste and what she did to that poor boy.
After being horrified and heartbroken, I found myself slowly filling with rage. Days later, it is still there, churning inside me.
I love my children dearly. I would kill for them, die for them, give away everything I have to save them.
People who torture and abuse children deserve a slow, excruciatingly painful death. I fall short of the glory of God. He is merciful.

“All five victims were pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
A male BLACK adult, believed to be the father of the juvenile victims, was detained when he arrived at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station lobby. He is currently being interview by investigators.”
Too many cases like this that leave one sick at heart. Sadly, there has always been child abuse, but it seems like the numbers keep growing. Perhaps they were not so publicized way back when, but I would not be surprised at all if the numbers truly are growing.
What with all the single mothers and divorces, too many kids are exposed to Mommy’s or Daddy’s new squeeze. Plus there’s the blasé attitude toward abortion cheapening life, perhaps especially the lives of children. After all, abortion is underpinned by the notion that unwanted children somehow don’t deserve to live. That and the idea that the right to have sex whenever, however with whomever trumps all other rights and considerations, which seems to have become too prevalent since the Sexual Revolution.
What a world.
IT for manufacturing will probably drive me to a similar setup.
