Someone said of this sort of replacement help that even an experienced nurse sent over from another hospital has to learn the codes and the ways to get histories of the patients and how to record every detail they perform later. It’s not like a summer camp diary. Would take a long time to become fully useful.
We know this young woman who just finished her RN degree and passed the national test.
She was hired by the hospital where she worked as a paid RN’s aide for 1.5 years on a post Covid ward.
She was stunned, when for the past 2+ weeks as she attrnded some very serious training to be an asst. RN on the Covid ward where she worked as an aide.
Now, she has to qualify to work as an asst. RN under the direction/guidance by trained and qualified RN’s. She feels that will take a couple of weeks of OJT under the guidance of long term RN’s and Critical Care MDs.

Hey Whitmer, how about you and your cronies go man the wards and care for the patients? No? Then don’t try to tell the people doing it how to do their jobs. If they feel they need the (rather dubious) protection of an experimental vaccine they’ll take it. If they’re comfortable with other safety measures, so be it. If not, they’ll leave on their own. It is your own tyrant meddling and fascist power dreams that have led to this. This is on you, 100%.
Walgreens would be more help. They could dispense Ivermectin.

Certainly sounding like this administration is using everything to “test” what they can get away throughout the nation.
Nurses and other medical staff are overworked and underappreciated and underpaid.
I respect and admire them for all they do. Especially in these times.
