A Northern California Apple store was targeted by thieves Wednesday in the latest smash-and-grab theft as mobs continue to commit brazen burglaries on retail shops in several U.S. cities.
Four suspects walked into the Apple store just after 11:30 a.m. in Santa Rosa, 55 miles north of San Francisco, and stole more than $20,000 worth of merchandise in broad daylight in front of customers and staff, authorities said.

BLM organized crime. How muh longer will the People put up with it?
—
Was one of the things the Gov race was about. People voted for looting. No viable peaceful end. Just more looting, riots, mayhem ... you know, all the fine qualities Californians seem to admire.
Leave them enabled to track the thieves and then unleash the robotic Richard Simmonses on them.
Well, that just proves …… the obvious.
It will not stop till those in the gangs start dying.
it does present a mixed set of emotions doesn’t it?
A typical Apple Store has almost all merchandises locked up in a secure storeroom in the back. Consumers can play with the "demo" merchandise in the store but when they decide to buy, their purchase is retrieved from that storeroom.
No doubt that the demo products were pretty much bricked by the time the thieves got out to the parking lot.
Same with Louis Vuitton, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent and other big retailers that have been hit.
They aren’t knocking over the neighborhood Ace Hardware store or Subway sandwich shop owned by a local guy.
This is basically organized bank robbery.
Need to declare open season on this.
“I suspect that the owners of these stores might have something to do with it.”
The owners are the stock holders.
“I suspect that the owners of these stores might have something to do with it. They hire “looters”, then turn in big insurance claims, “looters” sell the “stolen” merchandise, and split the money with the owners. When a crime is this brazen and in broad daylight, there is something more than just crime going on. It wouldn’t be surprising to find out that the cops are being paid off as well.”
You think that up all by yourself? So a little math..... $20K in retail equals $4,000 in stolen goods value. So at best, the corporate owners of the store AND the police are in on this scam and risk jail time for a fractional share of a $4,000 take?
Do better.
How much longer will people put up with it?

Personally, I’d be fine with it as long as they limited their activities to hit the “woke” cities and businesses that endorse and support BLM.
Won’ be long before you will only be able to buy these products online. Retail stores will close.
Hmmn? well, you know.
“Until we send the message”
Just exactly what do you mean by “we”?
The system wants lawlessness, it NEEDS lawlessness.
It will not only be tolerated, it is constantly being encouraged.
Those of us who demand to live in a civilized society under the rule of law. Whatever it takes, whatever the cost in feral lives.
That’s who.

ROTFLMAO.
Good thing they have the 2nd amendment, eh? ( sarc.)
Yes, insurance scam as a “business model” is a very bad one. I can only imagine it happening very rarely for someone in desperate straights, or being controlled by the mafia. And Insurance Co’s will not allow it to occur more than once.
And that’s not something Apple, one of the world’s largest companies, is going to do.
For little operators like me, business insurance does not make it quick or easy to make a claim.
Most large stores are self insured. It would serve no purpose to hire looters.
Personally I would equip all doors with a lock that is opened by inserting a valid credit or debit card. Don’t want the store to know who you are? Don’t come in.
