Global warming scaremongers refuted as Arctic ice growing, on track to be the most ice in 2 decades
American Thinker ^ | 11/24/2021 | Thomas Lifson

The scariest scenario of the global warming doomsayers has been the idea that the melting Arctic ice cap would put coastal cities underwater. For example:

‘Scientists in the US have presented one of the most dramatic forecasts yet for the disappearance of Arctic sea ice,’ reported the BBC back in 2007. ‘Their latest modelling indicates that northern polar waters could be ice-free in summers within just 5-6 years.’

Professor Wieslaw Maslowski from the Department of Oceanography of the US Navy predicted an ice-free Arctic Ocean by the summer of 2013.

Maslowski added that his prediction was on the conservative side, too: “Our projection of 2013 for the removal of ice in summer is not accounting for the last two minima, in 2005 and 2007. So given that fact, you can argue that may be our projection of 2013 is already too conservative.”

There are plenty more such forecasts:

‘Scientists in the US have presented one of the most dramatic forecasts yet for the disappearance of Arctic sea ice,’ reported the BBC back in 2007. ‘Their latest modelling indicates that northern polar waters could be ice-free in summers within just 5-6 years.’

And

In 2010, Mark Sereezer, the newly appointed senior scientist at the US government’s Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) in Boulder, Colo. was famously quoted as saying: “the Arctic is screaming.”

But, as with countless other prophesies of climate doom, they were alarmist BS. Cap Allon writes:

This week, Arctic sea ice is approaching 10,000,000 km2 — the second highest ice extent of any of the last 15 years. Furthermore, the years 2008 and 2005 are on course to be eclipsed in the coming days/weeks, as are many from the early-2000s and mid/late-1990s — this means that 2021 will soon claim the title of ‘the highest Arctic sea ice extent of the past two decades’ (since 2001). (snip)

Just more proof positive of the catastrophic climate crisis occurring because of the unlivable levels of ‘see-uh-oh-2’. Sounds like david suzuki needs to follow through with his threat of ‘blowin’ up some pipelines real good’.

This is bad news. Ice is white and oppresses the sea beneath it.

More ice at the polls isn't necessarily a good thing.

Remember the closing scenes in the movie The Day After Tomorrow:

More ice = climate change so we need to increase taxes.

Less ice = climate change so we need to increase taxes.

The same ice = climate change so we need to increase taxes.

It may take a committee of “experts” to explain what is going on here.

;-)

And yet, I read less than a week ago that Antarctica’s ice sheets are breaking up, projected to be A Very Bad Thing.

Maybe nature can’t do both poles at once.

There is a simple explanation for the record growth of the polar ice and it all relates to the ongoing threat of Climate change.

The same forces causing climate change are also responsible for the divergent equatorial flow from its conventional path to a recon vectored parabolic transitional flow on a biased east/west axis which nominally causes a bilateral path which is followed by the previous but no longer in place equatorial flow.

RE: More ice at the polls isn’t necessarily a good thing.

So which is it, do we want more warming or cooling?

Either way, we still panic and have to support the green new deal.

IF it is true that Nancy Pelosi just bought a beachfront mansion in FLroida, then yes, it appears the sea level rising scam is BS.

RE: IF it is true that Nancy Pelosi just bought a beachfront mansion in FLroida

What’s she doing owning property in enemy territory governed by an evil racist named Ron DeSantis?

Either way, we still panic and have to support the green new deal.

By design, which is why it is no longer called "Global Warming" and is now referred to as "Global Climate Change."

Too wet? Global Climate Change.

Too dry? Global Climate Change.

Too hot? Global Climate Change.

Too cold? Global Climate Change.

Up is down. Black is white. In the inverted meanings of everyday things being redefined. Of course, global warming is not at all what you think it is, it is actually global cooling just backing away to take another run at us.

The planet Earth is a study in the balance of energy received with the amount of energy radiated. On a yearly basis, the balance stays pretty much the same throughout the year, as the exposure to solar radiation of any specific surface point increases, then decreases, as the axial tilt of the earth takes us through the seasons.

And the greenhouse gas that makes all this possible? Water vapor. The cycle of freezing, thawing, evaporation and condensation all takes place within a fairly narrow range, and astonishingly, most of that is confined to temperatures under which life on earth has evolved. Carbon dioxide does not, cannot, perform the same or anywhere near the same effect as water vapor on the in the environment that exists in what is commonly known as the biosphere, that level of the atmosphere and bodies of waters in which living creatures live and thrive.

I check this site just about every day.

http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/

I’d say it’s a good year for ice - but I think it’s a little early to be projecting where the ice will top out at the peak of the season.

CO2 is controlling global warming...on Venus where it makes up about 97% of the atmosphere, whereas on Earth it is about 0.04%.

Any effect it could have on Earth is much less than statistical noise, i.e. unmeasurable and insignificant.

Lol…following the science can be very inconvenient…but I’m confident the increased ice is due to globull warming…
