COVID-19 has killed more people in 2021 than 2020.
The virus was reported as the underlying cause of death (or a contributing cause of death) for an estimated 377,883 people in 2020, accounting for 11.3% of deaths, according to the CDC. As of Monday, more than 770,000 people have died from the coronavirus, according to Johns Hopkins University data. That means over 15,000 more people have died in 2021 than last year from COVID-19 – and there's still more than a month left.
This has happened despite the fact that last year no Americans were vaccinated (now 59% of all eligible Americans have had the "life-saving" jab) and some 17% have received booster shots...
The 2021 U.S. death toll caught some doctors by surprise. They had expected vaccinations and precautionary measures like social distancing and scaled-down public events to curb the spread of infections and minimize severe cases. But, The Wall Street Journal has its own explanation, suggesting lower-than-expected immunization rates as well as fatigue with precautionary measures like masks allowed the highly contagious Delta variant to spread, largely among the unvaccinated, epidemiologists say.
Among missteps, Dr. Abraar Karan, an infectious-diseases doctor at Stanford University, said, public-health officials failed to effectively communicate that the purpose of vaccines is to protect against severe cases of Covid-19 rather than to prevent the spread of infection entirely, which may have led some to doubt the effectiveness of the shots.
CDC has an excuse too, claiming that there was a larger undercount of Covid-19 deaths in 2020, when the disease was newer and a scarcity of tests made confirming some infections difficult.
Deaths remain concentrated in older people (81% of 2020 deaths were among people aged 65 and above, and 69% of the same cohort in 2021).
Still could be worse (and still could be if this latest trend continues in the US)...
“The vaccine is not a panacea,” said Ana Bento, an epidemiologist at Indiana University-Bloomington.

The Delta variant has been a harsh taskmaster.
The pandemic didn’t begin until mid-March in 2020. Assuming a steady death rate, there should be more deaths in 2021. But, it does show that the jab is not very effective.
Anyone that has the slightest shred of common sense and cognitive thinking capacity that is ONLY founded in facts and truth, not propaganda, has accepted the known medical fact there has never been a successful vaccine against any coronavirus. The recent attempts now join that illustrious group.
Just a masks have always AND ONLY to reduce the transmission of bacteria, sometimes thousands of time larger in dimensions than any virus and able to be caught in the THREAD COUNT GEOMETRY. (Look up what thread count means)
Isolation indoors means you cohabit where ultraviolet, virus killing Sunlight does not exist. Also breath from infected people concentrates more with every exhalation of someone positive. Outdoor air disipates the concentration.
Be careful here with touting this kind of information.
If the vaccines don’t work, we will see lockdowns again...just like what is happening in Europe and elsewhere globally.
Just be very, very careful.

Nice.. i was reading Hebrews also.. in chp 2. Why was Jesus made a little lower than the angels.. He did this for all, suffered, died and rose.. why? To release those who through fear of death (not death itself) were All their Lifetime subject to bondage.
Free from fear of death equal free from bondage. It is the only way to live.
So thankful. In the movie risen one of the Apostles replies, I do not fear death. The Roman replies, then fear the death of that to whoch you were entrusted.

The USA Covid fatality rate did not surge until the last week in March 2020, when it hit 3,200 over seven days.
2021 has had 11 straight months of significant Covid deaths.
However, the weekly Covid fatality average in 2021 is running about 1,000 per week higher than the Covid fatality average in 2020.
Also, after forty weeks, deaths from all causes in 2021 are running about 100,000 higher than 2020.
Lockdowns don’t work. If we had used early treatment instead of “vaccinations “ we would have beat this virus. Read Bobby Kennedy’s new book and you see what has happened to us.

Meanwhile folks like my wife and I continue to live as we always did, as though this virus doesn’t exist. And we’re oddly fine.

Gosh, its just so odd we don’t hear about it in the media. Where’s the daily running death count?....y’know, like they had in 2020? It seems to have disappeared for some strange reason.
