A car ran through the middle of the Waukesha Christmas Parade Sunday evening, leaving multiple people injuries, according to a reporter on scene.

Multiple people are on the ground injured, the reporter tweeted around 4:40 p.m.

There is a heavy police presence downtown.

The parade runs through the downtown area of Waukesha.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that eyewitness reports on a breaking news situation are usually pretty bad. That’s why you get the “there were two or three shooters line” at active shooter events when there weren’t.

This could be:

1. BLM terrorist attack.
2. Drunk or high fool.
3. Someone running from the police and didn’t know a parade was in the way.
4. Something else.

We don’t know yet. Take everything with a grain of salt until more details are confirmed.

Eyewitnesses indicate the driver of the car also fired shots out of the window while they sped through the parade.

Chief says it happened about 4:30

When asked about reports of shots fired, Chief says “officers tried to stop the threat.”

He does not believe any shots were fired from the SUV

Dispatcher on the scanner gave the same description from a reporting party calling in to say the person was trying to get into his/her house.
