Biden’s political standing fuels Democratic worry about 2024

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — It was supposed to be a moment of triumph for Joe Biden.

The Democratic president had just signed into law the most significant infrastructure package in generations. But when Biden arrived in New Hampshire last week to promote the $1 trillion package at the foot of a crumbling bridge, not all of his VIP guests were in the mood to celebrate.

“Democrats are concerned,” former state House Speaker Steve Shurtleff, a longtime Biden supporter who attended the ceremony, told The Associated Press.

Biden’s political standing is so weak less than a year into his presidency that he may not be able to win reelection in 2024 if he were to run again. Such anxiety-fueled parlor games are common among Washington’s political class, but this one has spread to the states and constituencies that will play a central role in the next presidential election.

Vice President Kamala Harris is facing her own political conundrum with polls suggesting she may be less popular than her unpopular boss.

She delivered her first solo speech to promote the new infrastructure law on Friday in Ohio’s capital city, addressing a mostly empty union hall largely absent of political dignitaries.

And when she delivered her speech on the infrastructure law, there was little sign of Democratic enthusiasm.

The crowd of invited guests barely filled one-quarter of a local union hall. Almost none of Ohio’s top Democrats attended the event, including Sen. Sherrod Brown or the high-profile Democrats running for governor. Rep. Joyce Beatty, who represents the district where Harris spoke, was the only member of Congress in attendance.

Mitch McConnell wasn’t there. It was a quid pro quo. He’ll get something in return. McConnell doesn’t care about America.

So the cabal who runs Biden and pushes their evil agenda through him as their meat puppet is now concerned their meat puppet is not popular.

Oh no, what if a gop RINO takes over in 2024? How will dems pass their agenda?

They need not worry. Joe is the best thing to come around since sliced bread. His economic policies are successful and he is changing the dynamic between the government and the people in a fruitful way, leading us from being citizens to being subjects! He represents the best that the Democratic party has to offer and he needs to run again in 2024!

They are not concerned. They recognize that there is a cognitive dissonance forming where the voters are all fed up with Biden but congress keeps giving him everything he asks for. So some political theater is required. But that’s all it is. The Dems and the gop are playing this like it’s the endgame and soon the opinions of the voters won’t matter so they are going for broke.

Note the AP is not concerned about the destruction of the country, it’s only concerned about the poll numbers as it might affect Biden’s reelection and the Dem’s hold on power.

RE: stay with the popular and dynamic leader Joe....

What if his polls say 17% in the next election and he wins with 69% of the popular vote and carries 40 states?

GOP too shy to short of try to kinda cry foul over the fraud?
They know they won’t get invited to big donor yacht parties with the Dems that way. Standing right next to Mitch.

Kammie only 28%.

Obvious racism and sexism rampant.

Time for more leftist educational modules to be forced onto kids. And a copy of the 1619 Project book in every motel and hotel room.

Less than 1 in 3 US presidents retire from office without resigning, dying or getting impeached. Set the question of re-election aside and ask whether this guy is even going to make it to 2024.

I’m not claiming that the wheels are coming off right now, but wheels coming off looks like what we are already seeing. My contrarian opinion is that Dem leaders need first to convince Kamala Harris to leave, then Biden. Otherwise, they’re going from the frying pan into the fire.

The problem is not so much that a Biden-Harris led party will cause big losses in November 2022. It is that so many shaky Dems are up for re-election in the Senate in November 2024 that the party faces total destruction at that point.

There are so many fires burning on so many fronts for the Dems right now, and by any account an ongoing free fall. Maybe the Dems wait until January 2023 to bid Harris then Biden adieu. But if things keep getting worse; if the momentum and mayhem start to look self-fulfilling; if there is nothing to brake this slide; then I think we will be saying hello to VP Klobuchar by close of 2022 Q2 and to POTUS Klobuchar late summer.

I know, this idea of mine is kooky. But who here can offer up any more plausible way for Dems to stop this train wreck?

Until we make it illegal to use proprietary software in electronic voting machines which can't be investigated and monitored by all parties before, during, and after the election which can alter votes by a line of code or a couple keystrokes by an unaccountable third party counting the votes I don't believe we'll have an honest election again.

Just my 2 cents.

In the left’s supreme arrogance and certainty of the voter’s stupidity, they are learning their huge mistake. Americans are busy, sometimes distracted from politics and news. But those same Americans are not stupid.
