The left’s reaction to Kyle Rittenhouse being acquitted of all charges was predictable and not particularly creative. According to them, he deserves to die, rot in hell, yadda, yadda, yadda.
But one Democrat is taking things further by calling on the Biden DOJ to consider federal charges against Rittenhouse. Rep. Jerry Nadler, who is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, tweeted his call for a federal review just hours after the jury’s verdict was announced.
Many on the left, who so nonchalantly and callously dismiss the damage done to people and property by BLM and Antifa, support Nadler’s call for a federal investigation. It could be argued that Democrats are so accustomed to things going their way that they can’t handle it when they lose.
Nadler would be wise to step away from his emotions over the verdict and think about the repercussions of pushing the narrative that Kyle Rittenhouse was a white supremacist who violated the civil rights of his attackers. The government failed — spectacularly! — in making that case and the Kenosha jury decided what most knew all along: it was simply a case of self-defense.
They are evil bastard. No one forced Nadler to make this statement. This kid shot two vicious criminals, and injured a third. The notion, even if you disagree with the result, that there has been a miscarriage of justice is a joke. The good news is that DOJ doesn’t want the blowback and will come nowhere near this
Not very easy, with this acquittal because it makes the dead/injured into the aggressors who assaulted him.
That’s a big hill to climb in a civil suit.
Jury trials mean nothing to them
Don’t like the way a state case is handled? The feds can do your dirty work for you.
I am not a lawyer, but I think it would work like this. The Feds would have to charge Rittenhouse with a Federal crime for his actions, like depriving the thugs of their civil rights. That would be a bit of a stretch since he wasn’t a government official and they weren’t really exercising their rights as they were assaulting him.
Maybe crossing state lines with impure thoughts or something like that. /s

Daniel Goldman, an attorney for House Democrats during the 1st Trump impeachment, has already told a variety of news organizations, that civil charges are unlikely.
The crazies over at Daily Kos and Democrat Underground want to bankrupt the kid.

i hope the media and the dems keep this up....there was an election Tuesday for mayor of Columbia, South Carolina...obama and that clyburn guy campaigned for the democrat. The Republican won by 5 pts...in a county that Biden won by 40 points...theres gonna be a historic beat down in next years mid terms....

I’ve actually seen this happen before, when somebody in the federal government doesn’t like the verdict, a local verdict, They came in and charge them with federal civil rights violations.
He’s another scumbag in the mold of Chuck Schumer. An aging New York Democrat who has spent is entire life in politics. He’s never spent one day on the private sector. Now he’s pandering to the lunatic fringe of his party out of terror of being primaried by an AOC clone.
