In the early days of CNN it was a neverending newscast except for Larry King’s program.
I didn’t realize that it was John Malone taking over CNN. He’s well-known here in Denver, where he founded Liberty Media and was one of the pioneers of the industry. I also think he’s fairly conservative, though that’s just an impression I’ve always gotten from him.
By the time Kyle Rittenhouse gets through with them there might not be anything left of CNN.
You would have to completely blow up the company and fire everyone.
It would take a while to even find real journalists to replace them.
They’re nearly extinct it seems.
The problem is its too late. Their brand is completely ruined. Many millions will never trust them again.
AT&T owns CNN, lock, stock, and barrel.
Malone is a super-smart guy.
While I do not know his political views, I do know he can smell b*&^s&^% a mile away...
He is a numbers guy—either you generate cash flow or you are gone.
Malone will just issue orders—some will disobey and get fired, and the rest will get the message.
The fired CNN staff can write long riffs about “corporate greed” after they are gone...
I’d like to see CNN, MSNBC go bankrupt myself. Shut the damn doors.
The guy interviewing him - David Faber, was one of the best of the Jeopardy! guest hosts this summer.

Bring back the days of one no name guy at a desk reading the news, all nouns and verbs, no adjectives and adverbs, from a sheet of paper. No fake analysts, commentators, politicians’ brothers, gender and color hires. Screw diversity, just give me the facts.
