Amazing enlightenment occurring in at least some of these leftwing dweebs!

Covid red-pilled a lot of liberals. There's several dozen accounts I follow on Twitter who were people just like Sarah. Liberals who realized they were being lied to about Covid and then started wondering, "What else are they lying about?"

A lot of people on the left are having an identity crises.

ADA Binger telling a witness that he’s not a real journalist because real journalists don’t put their opinions into their news stories.

He just impeached 100% of the Fake News dirtbags.

The reporter should have shot back: "That's what Trump says".

Where prostitution is a crime, it isn't open season on prostitutes.

DA to prostitute: "When did you first think you were going to be raped?"

Hooker: "When he didn't pay me."

A barrister can weigh in and tell us if dismissal would be the proper thing.

Is that, like, a coffee jerk at Starbucks?

“The prosecutor wants a mistrial, and the judge isn’t going to give it to him.”

I suspected that. The deliberate violating of key court orders regarding evidence looked to me like he was trying to get a mistrial declared.

“It would be dismissal with prejudice, wouldn’t it be? I’m not sure myself but I think a dismissal is the correct term for when the prosecution brings a case that has no merit.”

In civil trials they have a procedure called “Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict,” which a judge can order to overrule a verdict.

I am pretty sure a judge cannot do that to a “not guilty” verdict in a criminal trial. But I think they can to a guilty verdict. It would be pretty unusual, though.

Legal Insurrection has an in depth and interesting take on the last potentially viable charge left for Kyle Rittenhouse (unlawful gun possession by someone under 18).

I think Kyle is screwed on that one. While the article rightly points out a technical "loophole", the spirit of the law appears to be to exclude minors who are legally hunting. If he is convicted only on that misdemeanor charge, he might have a successful appeal in a court where the law can be argued exactly as written, but this trial is probably not the place to do that. If he is acquitted of all the other charges, I'll take that as a win.

“Remember, this is Kenosha, not south Chicago”

But also remember, this is the same Kenosha that elected that mayor who sided with ANTIFA/BLM in the first place.

the person Kyle supposedly is pointing the gun at, is not even in the enlarged picture

Obfuscation as the prosecutor did a miserable job and should not have even prosecuted the murder charges.

The thing is, as a matter of law, even if Kyle is reckless a minute or two earlier, that does not have any bearing on the heat of the moment. Each of the three shooting incidents is in a small time frame, and each stands on it’s own.

Hopefully the judge will be clear when charging the jury.

Agreed, and I suspect only a guilty verdict on the underage possession in his mind would be a very good outcome.

I hope that is true. I agree that a sole guilty verdict for the Possession charge would be a win.

That prosecutor is a nasty bit of rat-faced weasel, obviously trying to misrepresent reality - Kyle defended his self - better than most people ever could - amazing trigger control.

I watched a lot of it live that night and then saw many various Videos posted later. That jerk with the gun did raise his hands with the gun still being held — Kyle held his fire, and then when it seemed he wasn’t looking, the jerk, aimed the gun again, and that’s when Kyle shot his arm.

He’s lucky that Kyle didn’t put another round into his chest to totally neutralize the threat, but had he walked away instead of trying again, he’d have an undamaged arm.

And the defense is bordering on incompetence. That leaves it up to the jury.

The picture stuff was total crap. When I looked at the enlarged photos that they gave to the jury, I couldn’t even see a person - it was all just a bunch of gobbledygook next to a burned out car or something.
