This is amusing...because there is actually a vaccine for that (small pox) and it has worked well for over 100 years.
Most of the folks around here have been given THAT shot already.

Yup, still have millions of doses of the old smallpox vaccine in storage, which has been tested as best we can and seems still effective. Plus have millions of doses of a newer smallpox vaccine created after soviet weaponization fears which may be safer and also seems to work. Plus we have a couple newly invented antiviral drugs designed, saved and stockpiled specifically against it. And we have the FJB wonder team ready to act… So pray no one finds the Soviet’s stash!

It might not be so amusing if they are creating a vaccine resistant strain. These people are EVIL, not stupid.

I don't know the demographics of Freereublic, but I would guess that most people here have not had the smallpox vaccine.
They stopped mass smallpox vaccinations in 1970 or so. That means most everyone born since about 1963 is not vaccinated. The exception is some military who were in Iraq, some DOD civilians, and any high risk people.
So, smallpox might be an excellent choice for a mass depopulation scheme where the elite could protect themselves.
