Danchenko says, his "sources of information in Russia amounted to 'hearsay' and 'jest.'
Well, yes, he would, self-servingly, but who is it implying Danchenko had an official duty to be completely accurate to anyone in this chain of story-telling? Surely not simply because he may have gotten paid for his stem-winding story-telling! Stand-up comedians are compensated for entertaining assembled pub-dwellers all the time!
Although Danchenko and his subsources probably had lots of completely concocted tales that would work well as a political rumor campaign, best plied to people with a .05 BAC or higher, it's not as if he and those sources were accusing anyone in a court of law or swearing to anything before Congress. Until recently, at least, people had sufficient freedom of speech to be able to take verbal and false pot-shots at public figures with answering to the court, DOJ or MI5 & MI6.
Culpability lies with these people in this so-called "opposition research" chain that were passing these fictitious stories around in the marbled halls of Washington, DC, where their doing so amounted to a conversion of barroom jest into researched evidence of criminal conduct by top government functionaries, supposedly colluding with foreign enemy governments.
When the DOJ and FBI, (think McCabe, Rosenstein, Comey, Page, Strzok, the Orrs, etc.), the Hillary Campaign and the DNC paid millions for Fusion GPS and Steele's collected scrapbook of hearsay, jest and slander, pushing it accusatorily forward instead of laughing it out of the pub, those people doing so had a duty akin to making an accurate police report.
Those pushing Steele's trash into the FBI arena, where it was quickly recognized--including in official writing--as unworthy of formal charges, yet conspiratorially advanced the case, signing their names on FISA warrants, for example, where they personally took responsibility for having verified the accusatory evidence, those people need to answer to charges shortly after their long-overdue arrests!
I see Danchenko simply as a complete "small fry" in this chain.
There is absolutely no statute of limitations on Treason fraud.
Durham is just cleaning things up for the FBI. How was the fBI to know this was a Clinton op when everybody was lying to them? /s
And, he is moving.... slowly, but surely.
I believe this Igor Danchenko guy is upper right:
I thought the statute of limitations has run out. Hmmm
Dear Leftists: Tuesday Wasn’t About Us, It Was About You

Dear Leftists,
Let’s be clear: Tuesday’s election wasn’t about us, it was about you. It was about putting a stop to your failed American Marxist policies that have been fundamentally transforming and dividing our country by race, class, and ideology. We see it, but, unsurprisingly, you don’t.
Voters—across not only on the dark blue east, but the midwest and Texas too—resoundingly and decisively rejected what you’re selling at all levels of government. Tellingly, though, rather than taking some time for introspection to consider why you lost, we see you’re immediately doubling down on those very same failed policies:

It’s not the messaging, folks. This country simply loves white supremacy.

CBS NEWS Washington — A Russian analyst who worked with Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence officer behind a controversial dossier about former President Donald Trump and Russia, has been indicted on federal charges of making false statements to the FBI, according to the Justice Department.
A federal grand jury charged Igor Danchenko, a 43-year-old Russian national living in Virginia, with five counts of lying to federal investigators about the sources of information he provided to Steele’s firm, which was then included in the dossier passed to the FBI. The false statements were allegedly made on five different occasions, from March 2017 to November 2017, according to the indictment unsealed Thursday.

I suspect there's big funding for coerced commie control in these two 'Commie Care' House bills - and that's what the hurry's about.
5 counts of lying to the feds
Yawn...
Bring on the Ceaucescu remedy for Hillary, Comey , Strzok and all the rest.

Yes! Bull Durham is now able to come out of the “Pit Bull Bull Pen”. Bite, Durham, Bite”!!!!
Starting on page 5 of the indictment, “PR Executive-1” appears to be a long time Clintonista with deep, deep ties in Russia. PR Executive-1 might well have been working directly on behalf of Russia.
