In a year that has been filled with so many mysteries already, I have another very odd one to share with you. Emergency rooms are filled to overflowing all over America, and nobody can seem to explain why this is happening. Right now, the number of new COVID cases in the United States each day is less than half of what it was just a couple of months ago. That is really good news, and many believe that this is a sign that the pandemic is fading. Let us hope that is true. With less people catching the virus, you would think that would mean that our emergency rooms should be emptying out, but the opposite is actually happening. All across the country, emergency rooms are absolutely packed, and in many cases we are seeing seriously ill patients being cared for in the hallways because all of the ER rooms are already full.
Let me give you an example of what I am talking about. The following comes from an article entitled “ERs Are Swamped With Seriously Ill Patients, Although Many Don’t Have Covid”…
‘Inside the emergency department at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, staff members are struggling to care for patients showing up much sicker than they’ve ever seen.
‘Tiffani Dusang, the ER’s nursing director, practically vibrates with pent-up anxiety, looking at patients lying on a long line of stretchers pushed up against the beige walls of the hospital hallways. “It’s hard to watch,” she said in a warm Texas twang.
‘But there’s nothing she can do. The ER’s 72 rooms are already filled.’
Can anyone explain why this is happening?
If the number of COVID cases was starting to spike again, it would make sense for emergency rooms to be overflowing...

I have seen this worsen every day for the last few months, and it’s not only “staffing shortages.”
No one will speak of the likely cause (hint: it rhymes with “em-are-en-ae”).
NPR article: https://khn.org/news/article/hospital-emergency-rooms-swamped-seriously-ill-non-covid-patients/
If you go browse around, numerous talk over two significant factors. The first being a manpower shortage in various areas, due to non-vax medical personnel being let go, and hospitals being on lessened services (a handful of hospitals will say they are disengaging from emergency room services).
The second topic being brought up is something referred to as a ‘super-cold’ where people are saying they have massive breathing issues and are more-than-normally stuffed sinuses. Whether this is connected to Covid, the vaccination business, a whole new cold strain, or just people with weakened immune systems? Unknown.
What it that?
And it will just get worse during the cold months.
It’s one of those vacksheens.
Stay away from Hospitals (unless it’s an emergency) if you want to live.

I’m wondering if something else is at work here: Have people lost so much confidence in the medical profession during the COVID fiasco that they don’t see their regular doctors anymore?
Just wait until they start jabbing kids! Just say NO!
I agree with your reason in post 1. The article also states that some people couldn’t get/put off treatments for months during the beginning of COVID. The article also speaks of hospital overcrowding even before COVID because there aren’t enough hospital beds. Does a lack of hospital beds because hospitals don’t want open beds because they want to maximize profits create a situation in which the media can stoke COVID hysteria: “WE’RE RUNNING OUT OF BEDS!”
They are going to have to increase the cycle rate of the PCR tests to bump up the covid numbers to keep the fear level up. I suspect it will be nearly impossible to have in-person voting in 2022.
Yep. Still grieving. They DID NOTHING for my mother. Put plastic mask over her face with oxygen.gave her remdesevir (spelling) . Moved her to hospice. DEAD.
My sympathies Donna.
Could it possibly be those illegals that have been swarming into the country for the past year? None of them have a regular physician. And the medical staff of the hospital who are still on the job are programmed to play dumb and continue the “mystery” as to who these people are.
People can’t get in to see a doc.
Can’t get in to see a doc they want.
And Medicaid patients who treat ERs like walk-in care.
And then there’s the staff shortages due to vaxx mandates. ERs look like they’re overflowing because patients back up waiting to be seen.
Quebec scraps vaccine mandates for health care workers, Ontario won’t require them
why is there a fence around hospitals?
These hospital administrators remind of Milo Minderbind.
