Anyone here from Virginia with a prediction?

I am thinking Youngkin will be ahead tonight with a 5-6% margin. Massive vote drop at 2 am will give the edge to McAuliff.

If that is not enough for the win, they will find lots of unpostmarked ballots in a Richmond post office which must be counted because , ya know, every vote must be counted.

Maybe by Friday, the winner will be announced..

I’m worried it will be tied up in litigation for months snd they will dr late mcauliffe the winner around Christmas. Also- they are taking mail in ballots
without last four digits of SSN in violation of law. The steal is real.

Fairfax County more conservative precinct: both Republicans and Democrats with campaign worker tents, light rain. Only 10 -20 in line, but an imbalance of precinct workers - 4 stations checking in voters, but only one handing out and explaining the ballot. The line was because of the single ballot station and the line will get much longer with more demand.

Salem Civic Center 11 AM: ALL Voting is here for this election, Precincts in various rooms. There were HUNDREDS of cars in the lot. My ballot was #187, in my little district. Even my kid who doesn’t usually get out is making sure to get there later today.

Relatives in VA. All red districts. First relative in very rural precinct at 7:15 am was number 51. Line was active and more coming in. One repub. volunteer with signs and sample ballots outsider.

Another relative said she voted this mornjng in her area with not much waiting. Have a few more relatives voting later in similar red areas.

ALL are worried about fraud from the mail-in ballots.

My old district. The belly of the beast. Wexford won 268K to 206K in 2020. Wolf (R) was there forever and then Comstock, a real RINO.

Agree that Youngkin has a good shot to break even or perhaps win it. Loudoun should tip the balance. Youngkin will do better in NoVA than any Rep since 2009.

Turnout is strong at our VERY red precinct in Gloucester Point, VA. My wife just voted at 11:45 EDT and said it was very brisk; she was #547 for the day.

I’m hoping/thinking Youngkin will see a vote increase in the Valley, Southside and southwestern Virginia. A statewide Republican usually does well in those areas but any increase in positive GOP turnout would be a blessing.
