Fox News contributor and former Speaker Newt Gingrich raised the prospect of election fraud on the eve of the Virginia gubernatorial election.
Right now the race between Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin and Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe is very close, and Youngkin’s chances of winning have increased.
Sean Hannity asked Gingrich Monday night, “Does Youngkin need to win for this to have the maximum impact? What if it’s really tight?”
“If it’s really tight, they’ll steal it,” Gingrich responded. “So you can’t afford to have a really tight election. You have to win by a big enough margin they can’t steal it.”
Gingrich echoed earlier comments from former President Donald Trump, who cast doubt about the outcome in two separate statements backing Youngkin.
Trump has pushed numerous false election claims and baselessly insisted the 2020 election was stolen from him. In the days following that election, Gingrich went all-in pushing some of those baseless claims.f

They have to be postmarked today.
If that's really the case VA has one of the most backward election systems in the country.
In my state, and I think in most of the country, I can track my ballot online and see where it is in the system and know when it's recorded.
What state are you in?
Is that Fairfax or VA?
YES! If the Dems pull an obvious steal here (and keep in mind, all the focus is on just this one state), then anger will just continue to build until Nov 2024. And add that anger to the anger building over the 2020 steal.
After getting ahead by a few percentages, why do you think they HAD TO ISSUE polls that show a tight race?
I noticed that and thought...yeah, they must get it closer to succeed in the CHEAT.
Melcome to Virginia.
But they are in control of the US House, the US Senate and The Poopy House...
All of Virginia.
Newt says this like it’s as trivial as a weather occurrence.
How far we have fallen.
To think, twenty years ago, the accusation of outright stealing an election, would’ve caused outrage.
Today? Just part and parcel.

The Democrats are only 40% of the electorate.
Like number 2 Avis, they cheat try harder.
They couldn’t steal Florida 2000 and it still drives them nuts and they’ve corrupted most elections systems because of it.
You’re right
I guess you showed me, huh? Everyone is a badass behind a keyboard.
There was actually fraudulent activity across the nation in 2020 [and other years, of course].
The bloodbath Nazi Pelousi took in the House would have been worse had they not been stealing US House seats, too. The Dems would have lost control of the US House.
I've identified one House seat in Iowa that they stole, and they tried to get two others [four House seats in Iowa, and one of them was a lock for the Pubbies]. They missed getting Marianne Miller-Meeks' seat by 6 votes - and Nazi tried to steal it anyway, as you'll recall.
I have a technique where I compare the presidential election turnout by county from 0bama 2008 with Brandon 2020.
The cheating shows up as if you are shining a blood-spatter light on it.
AZ
The democrats steal their way into public office and then change the laws so they can never lose another election, ie; mass mail in ballot fraud.
Today? Just part and parcel.
Yep. It's the go-to excuse for a loss.
Being used pre-emptively more often, like this from Newt.
