I have been waiting for Trump to join Gettr, since it started July 1st, but he has not yet.
Apparently he had another plan. Though he might also want to join Gettr now.

This sounds like a good idea, but he should’ve jumped on Gettr months ago, at least as a bridge until his site was up and running. Joining Gettr early on would have helped to dispel the chatter that it’s all about him.

All about him? Pretty sure his life would have been much easier if that were true. He has put his reputation, his business, his family and his money on the line to try and right a very damaged ship. Give him a little leaway

What’s up with that, I wonder.
My impression too, and those things are important. Some alternative social media sites are a mess. I signed up.
I didn't even wait for my buddies. I ditched Facebook, Twitter and the other propaganda platforms back in January.
Have not been overly impressed with the alternative platforms like Gettr, Gab, Telegram, etc. Very little substance and nothing but plastering of the same memes over and over again. Also too many people pretending to be who they aren't. There's no excuse for a so-called serious platform to allow random users to take the @officialdonaldtrump or @realdonaldtrump handles and pretend they are Donald Trump.
And as much as I support President Trump, I am not interested in buying Trump coins from all the shysters and grifters peddling them, thank you very much.
So I sincerely hope this official Trump platform is the real deal. Though I must say, the name of it is a little unwieldy. "TMTG" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. I was hoping for a snazzier name for the platform. Maybe that's something that's in the works for the official launch.
Anyway, I signed up on the website.
