I think we are way past apologies now. We’re in the “see you in court” phase.
Sue them, and keep suing them until every taxpayer in that county is homeless and destitute. Then the taxpayers will do what needs to be done to these “public officials”. They’ll wish they were living in a tent city on the LA streets once the taxpayers have to pay for what they did.
