Yes, because VPN's and ethernet were so common back then. LIAR!
...so someone studied computer science in the early 80s, the infancy of computing, but they’re a liar because they’re up to speed on modern computing technologies such as VPN? Seems you just want to call this person a fraud for making a false equivalency.
RE: Yes, because VPN’s and ethernet were so common back then. LIAR!
He said he was a computer science student, he did not ay he used VPN’s back then. That doesn’t mean he cannot UNDERSTAND the concept and update his computer science knowledge to keep up with technology long after he graduated. If he can master the science of mRNA, learning about VPN’s should be a breeze.
I think you’re reading too much into his statement.
Wow.
I think his point is that he’s a bit of a techie type of person.

Well, I understand about C#.NET, SQL, Informatia and other publish/subscribe buses, APM and Dynatrace, splunk, and NoSQL DB's..... and I was a comp sci degree back in 1980, too.
We keep up, us computer folk.
“Yes, because VPN’s and ethernet were so common back then. LIAR!”
You are being smart by half. Malone said he was originally in computer science, and said not a word about VPNs and ethernet. He merely said he understands modern computers.
Triggered much?
