A 15-year-old girl and her mum say they were intimidated by anti-vax protesters outside a Covid vaccination centre.
Grace Baker-Earle, who uses a wheelchair after contracting Covid, was confronted after receiving the jab at Cardiff's Bayside mass vaccination centre.
Her mum Angela said protesters accused her of using Grace "as a lab rat".
South Wales Police said officers attended a protest in the area at 10:50 BST and remained in attendance.
The force said no arrests had been made.
The vaccine has been offered to 12 to 15-year-olds in Wales since 4 October.
Ms Baker-Earle said the confrontation was "just horrible" and "incredibly intimidating", and happened while getting her daughter's wheelchair into her car - something she needs since developing Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME).
The 44-year-old said a protester claimed it was "ridiculous" to get the jab.
"I said my daughter is using a wheelchair because of Covid," Ms Baker-Earle said.
"[A protestor] said: 'She'll have immunity, you shouldn't be getting the vaccine since you have natural immunity. You shouldn't be using her as a lab rat'.
"It was incredibly unpleasant.

Well, as a person who has successfully (except for the wheelchair) fought and recovered from COVID-19, the girl now gas natural immunity so likely doesn’t “need” vaccination. But it’s HER AND HER FAMILY’S choice. Freedom to choose regarding vaccination works BOTH ways. Why harass someone who chooses differently from you?

these people are not liberal. btw so what someone got “intimidated” the entire force of the Federal government is forcing people to get a job or LOSE their income. I’d say that is the more worrisome aspect that BBC doesn’t seem to mind.

I got the 1st and 2nd jabs just so I would not have to bother with the lock down rules. And so the corrupt government would not bother me. Meanwhile, I have got a supply of quercetin, D-3, and Zink to keep me healthy if needed. My understanding is that the jabs will not prevent the illness. The jabs will only prevent the 19 from being lots worse.
And the government not only intimidates, it makes you get fired if you’re not vaxxed, and prevents you from doing anything.

I’m on my way to a wake this evening for my son-in-law’s cousin’s husband who collapsed and died a few days ago from a blood clot. He was 51 and has a wife on disability and 2 kids. He had the Covid shot 2 weeks ago, even tho he had Covid in 2020. So effing sad.
