Wrong..... very wrong

Xi has ceased generating power from many coal fired plants. As a result there are vast power outages all over China.

We are going to have a severe power shortage in the near future as regulations force the switch to lower producing and unreliable means of power generation just when the transportation industry switches to all electric vehicles. Where is that extra power going to come from? I forsee a huge market in pre def diesel trucks and underground untaxed heating oil filing stations

We need to bring back nuclear power. Every state should have to build one. 50 new gigawatt power sources.

Nuclear is the REAL Green Energy, and that’s just not the glow.

If I am not mistaken I think Tennesee Valley has nuclear power. They use water in my hometown in Germany to produce electricity.

Does this author not realize that Natural Gas is also a fossil fuel? It’s high gas prices that are making the economics of coal more attractive.

Fossil energy sources, including oil, coal and natural gas, are non-renewable resources that formed when prehistoric plants and animals died and were gradually buried by layers of rock.Over millions of years, different types of fossil fuels formed — depending on what combination of organic matter was present, how long it was buried and what temperature and pressure conditions existed as time ...

The Tennessee Valley is a HUGE river system, as wide as the Rhine. Tributaries include the Kentucky, Cumberland and Buffalo rivers. That’s a LOT of water!

Why would they need German water?

Thanks to the shale oil and gas revolution, the U.S. has access to more oil and gas (and coal) than any other nation. We have many hundreds of years of energy supply.

Technically, yes - but we grabbed the easy stuff first. Shale will become progressively more expensive to extract.

Modernized nuclear power is the real solution. Countries smart enough to build new reactors will gain a big advantage in the future.

Youtube video but I don’t have a link

It’s pretty common knowledge that China is experiencing power outages all over. The reason is they have ceased coal power generation

Xi actually said the Euros and Americans made him do it because of climate change

I’m not worried about CO2 emissions by fossil fuels. Hopefully coal will be phased out over time because of other pollutants it emits when burned.

If I were a greenie I wouldn’t be worried about use of fossil fuels in the near-term to provide essential power. Over time, it appears that green energy sources will meet more of our power needs so their problem is headed for a solution.

Keep the faith, greenies. Don’t panic!
