They are going to rely on sustainable fuels it says. I assume a sustainable fuel comes from plants or algae, but it still releases CO2 so where’s the benefit? Same with corn and ethanol, the net CO2 generated is still more than zero All those things to get plants to grow create more CO@ like tractors. It’s a shell game and sustainable is word salad,
The Paris accord has a convenient out too. If some report says the temperature only rises 1.5 degrees by the target date then all this posturing will have worked and they can keep it up.

If an alternative to misnomered “fossil fuels” becomes available and is properly harnessed, the need for big planes, as well as roads and bridges, will be largely moot.
