Before Modi took over in 2014, most citizens thought their chief concerns were poverty, insufficient economic growth and corruption. He rode to power on the promise to fix all that. But as the economy has continued to worsen, and unemployment and poverty have risen under him, the BJP has increasingly fallen back on supremacist politics to deflect attention and evade responsibility. To keep winning elections, it needs to keep polarizing Hindu voters against Muslims, and spinning ever more outrageous campaigns to demonize Muslims.
Muslims apparently lust after Hindu women, procreating rapidly with the aim of overtaking the Hindu population and establishing an Islamic state, and necessitating new laws against “love jihad.” Similar regulations against religious conversions and the slaughter of cows, which are sacred to Hindus, have encouraged vigilantism. Muslim hawkers and workers have come under increasing attack from Hindu supremacist groups calling for a boycott of Muslim businesses.

I can’t say I am entirely against this. While there are Muslims who are good people, I could see a purge of Islam itself being a good thing.

I echo your feelings. There are many Muslims I know who are good people, but out of the dozen or so Muslims I know well who are good people all but one is religious.
The bulk are Muslim in name only. The one religious Muslim is a Bohri - a sub-sub-division of Shia that are de-radicalized by their leader, the Syedna

And what has happened in Pakistan gets crickets.

I can’t help but feel this isn’t all bad. I know there is such a thing as a good muslim, but the radical element, and the silence of the “good” muslims cause me to feel this way.
I work with a nice fellow from India, now an American citizen. He has no love for muslims.
They’ll be a lot safer - bury them or run them out of the country.
If they start, they won’t be just slaughter Moslems. They’ll eradicate Christians, too.
The problem is you never know when one of the ‘good people’ muslims might go all mohamad on you. You’re playing Russian roulette with 4 chambers loaded, with them. Taqiyya, don’t you know?

Christians aren’t waging “holy war” against the Hindus. Islam is.
When you consider that a Pakistani and Indian both look alike, (and are basically part of the same tribe) then it’s like a fight to the death between brothers.
India has been subject to muslim perpetrated genocides throughout its history. Many histories have called the Moghul conquest of India, which came out of Afghanistan, the worst and most bloody genocide in the history of the world. Babur bragged about the piles of Hindu skulls he left as he crossed south Asia.
More recently, the partition of India in 1947 and the formation of Bangladesh were other opportunities for mass killings of Hindus.
Hindus now live in a strong Hindu nation, and they have not forgotten.
