The U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) met for the first time in Pittsburgh on 29 September 2021. It was co-chaired by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai, European Commission Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager, European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis. The United States and the European Union reaffirm the TTC’s objectives to: coordinate approaches to key global technology, economic, and trade issues; and to deepen transatlantic trade and economic relations, basing policies on shared democratic values....

There are separate statements for investment screening and export controls.
And all the American attendees are appointed by the sitting president. Not one of them is accountable to thee people oof this nation. Which means in all those agreements, and memos of undersyanding, they are controlling what and how you buy and sell.
