“People Will Bury Their Guns before They Surrender Them”
Political Science Rural Sociology Though gun violence is a global issue, the risk of firearm death is substantially higher in the United States than in other high-income nations. Guns are deeply rooted within American culture; however, different subcultures exist along the urban-rural divide. Such differences between urban and rural communities related to gun culture have been dubbed “firearm localism.”

Again this mindset makes it clear guns are useless for our side and we have already lost. I want to add we lost this battle a long time ago when we collectively took brute force off the table. You can't do that, ever. Diplomacy is utterly useless unless it's backed by the potential and willingness to back it up with brute force. The latter is where we failed.
T.B. Yoits wins this one.
When they come to collect those guns they know about they will ask you. Are there any other guns we might find if we search your property? They will also make it known that lying when they ask lands you in prison for 20 years automatically. How are you going to answer?
I'm not making this up. This is how searches for contraband are conducted. If you lie when they ask that's an additional crime and you are going to prison for a long time.
Will Rogers: Diplomacy is the art of saying "Nice Doggie" until you can find a rock.
If it’s time to bury our guns, it’s time we took theirs.
Bingo!!! this is exactly how communism works.
Everyone on this thread better wake up. There is no working around the system with communism, you either kill it or live under it.
Easy enough to fool metal detectors if you pack them correctly, with several layers of pvc pipe as the canister
Not a buy back if they never owned the gun to begin with.
These Marxist SOB’s aren’t stupid enough to walk up to your house and demand you give them your guns, while exposing themselves to the high risk of getting shot and killed. While you exercise your right to keep and bear arms. No, that’s not how it works.
This is how it will go down. In the middle of the winter, you will get a letter informing you that according to national firearms registration records, you purchased the following list firearms. And that you are instructed to turn them in by such and such date, or your electricity will be turned off; your bank account will be locked, as well as your credit cards.
When there is no heat, no lights, no food, and your wife and kids and grandma are crying that their freezing, and hungry...you will turn in your guns.
These evil Commies are cunning, and they know how to get you to comply.
Consider another Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) scenario from the cold war – the nuclear triad.
Bombers, Land based ICBMs and Submarine launched ICBMs.
Each had their advantages and disadvantages.
Bombers were slow but could be recalled – so they could be on airborne alert.
Submarine launched ICBMs could be close to enemy shores, but couldn’t be recalled.
Guns in your safe or around your house can be used in an emergency.
Guns in a concealed location in your house would be somewhat protected, but harder to access in an emergency.
Guns stashed away means they NEVER can be successful in disarming the people so they had better not try, just as the Soviets never did partially because of the nuclear triad.
Preppers have lots of ways of defeating searches, even those using metal detectors. It’s been a cottage industry for decades.
Yep, that’s the world we live in.
The fact that this Country would get to the point that they would be violating our God Given Natural Rights in order to confiscate our Firearms only means that tough decisions will have to be made.
Since I’m old, have Leukemia and would be in disbelief knowing my beloved Nation has come to that, I would probably choose to go out in a blaze of glory rather than submit to Tyranny.
Everyone would be forced to make a choice should things turn out that badly, compliance or slavery.
Pray for America while you are still allowed to.
Did anyone run a background check on the government before we allowed them to have guns?
There are core undefended leftist targets everywhere come the day they suspend the constitution.
True dat...
Yes. And not all states have a carry law.
But I meant hand over any and all guns you own.. if your gun is registered they know at least, those.
Stripping guns from all law abiding citizens.
You make a good case.
But, since most place don’t require background checks for private sales, how can they prove you still have them?
And are they going to try to do that to the 150 million gun owners in the country?
This.👍
Searchers look down, never up most times. You vacuum seal then wrap in heavy plastic (contractor bag) cover in tree bark cammo and place them vertically against the bark of a pine way up; then go ahead and salt areas with nails.
If you do not turn them in they will shut off your credit cards, acces to bank accounts, make your employer fire you and all the other stuff china does to keep people in line.
