WASHINGTON (AP) — Rep. Liz Cheney says she was wrong to oppose gay marriage in the past, a stand that once split her family.
Cheney, R-Wyo., a fierce critic of fellow Republican Donald Trump, also tells CBS News’ “60 Minutes” that she views her reelection campaign as the most important House race in the nation as forces aligned with the former president try to unseat her. She voted to impeach Trump over his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
In the interview aired Sunday night, Cheney said she had little affection for President Joe Biden, who she believes has embraced harmful polices for the economy and national security with the Afghanistan withdrawal. “But the alternative cannot be a man who doesn’t believe in the rule of law, and who violated his oath of office,” Cheney said.

Has he ever come out for it?
Who cares anyway?
The only people who care are the ones who define their entire existence by what they like stuck in their orifices.
Oh good grief! Drama queen much?
She is pushing for lots of donor money before she loses.
“The big money is already heading her way.” Ask Yeb! about how effective all that Big Money was with his presidential aspirations.
I think that Cheney will be a much better poltician than Jeb was. Underestimate her at your peril.
Changing your tune on the homosexual agenda there Lizzy ain’t gonna help your re election chances in Wyoming there ya stoopid
“She won with 65% of the vote in her last run for this seat. A D will not beat her in Wyoming. She needs to be gotten rid of in the primary.”
The Dems will cheat to make sure she wins the primary. They know many Trump Republicans will not vote for her in the general.
Well, if 2020 taught us nothing else, it taught us that absolutely anyone can become POTUS or VPOTUS. I’d say she’s in it for the Veepstakes. Daddy leveraged that gig pretty well.
When did she oppose gay marriage? I assumed she was a supporter because of her gay sister. Nothing but political hyperbole.
Desperation
That’s the one good thing about the SCOTUS decision, Trump never had to publicly address the issue one way or the other. Had he explicitly came out for gay marriage, would he have gotten the nomination in 2016?
This demonic broad is really reaching, she’s in BIG trouble even after the demonrats have started urging others in their party to switch to repub in order to get her the win in the primaries.
And NO they’re not alot of gays in Wyoming.
Now she's pandering for cash but Democrats trust her less than Republicans. Maybe she's making a play for a job at CNN.
Does this sour and vindictive harpy ever shut up?
I’m afraid not. The media love her.
“Trump is perfectly fine with gay marriage, has he ever come out against it?”
I don’t know about that but I do know he was against transsexuals in the military because he felt they were just there for the taxpayer paid operation. I don’t think he really cares one way or the other about gays. Too bad for them that they joined politically with the “Look at me, look at me, ain’t I weird transsexuals”.
Is it also a mistake Liz that you’re in the Republican Party? No, that’s your ruse!, liar! DC needs a new party just for Liz Cheney and her other disloyal colleagues, maybe call it the NWO party.
“She’s running in 2024. In fact she probably hopes she loses in the primary, all that money that is going to her campaign will fund her Presidential campaign.”
She’ll do as well as Jeb if she does run as a Republican, and she’ll only get the NeverTrumpers if she tries Third Party...and that’s assuming that she doesn’t draw from the Dems, which is what she’s now trying to do.
“I think that Cheney will be a much better poltician than Jeb was. Underestimate her at your peril.” You obviously haven’t seen her polling numbers in Wyoming. She’s toast. Her numbers are so bad the NRCC has pulled funding. This is why W had to attempt to ride to her rescue with a fundraiser last week. BTW, no dollar figures were published regarding that fundraiser which is highly unusual. What does that tell you?
