A federal judge tore into a low-level defendant in the Capitol Riot Friday, moments after the man entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge stemming from the Jan. 6 unrest.
“You’ve disgraced this country in the eyes of the world and my inclination would be to lock you up, but since the government isn’t asking me to do that ... I won’t,” U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton shouted at Fort Pierce, Fla., resident Anthony Mariotto during a video hearing. “I find it outrageous that American citizens would do what you did, so you better walk the straight and narrow, sir, you understand?”....
the judge, an appointee of former President George W. Bush. “It was an attack on our government, and I love my government. This government has been good to me. To see somebody destroy, or try to destroy, the Capitol is very troubling to me.”

Nobody was “trying to destroy the Capital” ass munch. Except other ass munch government dick wads like yourself. Bush’s lame legacy continues to plague us.
It was an attack on Big Brother, and I love Big Brother. Big Brother has been good to me.
Disgraceful commentary from the bench, but Big Brother writes the paycheck that pays for his Georgetown brownstone, and invitations to all of the swell cocktail parties require such professions of love for Big Brother.
Gee, Judge Walton... I’m kinda negative on our government at the moment. You’re welcome to ‘love it’. I’m not going to stop you. Idiot!
Stinking bastard Judge...he couldn’t care less about law and justice. He is a Democrat fascist
What did the defendant do? Take too many selfies in the Capitol?
No, Walton, YOU have disgraced this country by allowed trespassers to be incarcerated for over 6 months without any hearing, without any possibility of being released on bail or on their own recognicanse. YOU have allowed the judicial system to be used as a tool of political persecution. Trespassing is a misdemeanor - since when are ALLEGED perpetrators of a misdemeanor so “dangerous to society” that they have to be held in prison (in substandard conditions, on top of everything), oftentimes in solitary confinement, for over 6 months?
This particular defendant, and all of the others held, have a strong case for being let off due to a violation of the 8th Amendment’s prohibition on “cruel or unusual punishment.” Further, if I were one of them, I would sue the Crapitol (yes, that’s what I wrote) Police Chief and any officers involved in my arrest, the Dept. of Justice, the Attorney General, the prosecutor(s) and assistant prosecutor(s), Nancy Pelosi AND the judge PERSONALLY for violating my civil rights under color of law (US Code Title 42, Section 1983). https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=(title:42%20section:1983%20edition:prelim) These people acted in their official capacities, but that does NOT include violating anyone’s civil rights because of that official status - so they can be held personally liable.
I would also file a complaint with any Bar Association or State (or the DC) Bar of which this judge was a member, and ask that he be disbarred for CLEARLY and willfully failing to uphold the 8th Amendment to the Constitution.
Ought to take and feather this azzhat judge
HYOU DUMBASS JUDGE!!! 66 MILLION DEAD BABIES KILLED BY THEIR OWN MOTHERS HAS DISGRACED THIS COUNTRY!
“To see somebody destroy, or try to destroy, the Capitol is very troubling to me.”
Is there any evidence of an effort to “destroy the Capitol” by this Defendant, or anyone else? Is the Defendant even accused of such? Perhaps he conspired to wear out the carpet by walking on it. Emotional outbursts from the bench are unacceptable, and Walton should be disciplined.
Hey reggie baby....have you ever worked OUTSIDE the government?? Probably not....that’s why you think its so special......and that KID HELPED PAY YOUR DAMN SALARY AND PENSION! JERK!
"Lifetime gig". Such a flexible term, y'know?
Don’t blame the judge. Blame the idiot who picked him.
So the Judge loves Fascism?
Nope the federal judiciary and congress have disgraced this country.
Who is better,
Judge Reggie or Judge Emmett Sulivan?
They did moron judge.
