The flu doesn’t kill otherwise healthy people...
Covid can...I’ve seen it with my own eyes up close
I used to think like you two.....oh it’s nothing....
I was wrong....granted the death rate is extremely low.
But it can kill healthy folks....even with therapeutics
For me it was like nothing honestly and I’m quite high co morbidity....36 hours heavy phlegm...I dosed HCQ and zpak and zinc elixir ..a putrid elixir
I’m very suspect of the vaxes and their side effects and lack of efficacy
And the govt medical tech media overreach for power on this
I’d like a real vax that works for folks
I’m not getting vaxxed and don’t think I need it
But this is not a flu for those few who are otherwise healthy and get it and die despite all efforts
That’s the kicker...without that it would be a non starter
Well said wardaddy.
I have a fifty year old nephew who contracted Covid in February ‘20. 300 pounds, diabetic, high blood pressure. In the ICU he was given the HCQ treatment. He was home ten days later. There are EXTREMELY effective therapeutics. Take the points you make about this virus, go back to 2018 you’ll find your talking about the flu we see every year or perhaps another of the Chinese flu variants, the fifth I’ve seen in my lifetime. It’s the flu! Your attitude about this flu is how we end up in CDC Armageddon.
My take is that healthy people who die got a huge viral load that their body was not able to overcome.
Wrong, flu sure as hell can kill the healthy.
I’m glad you got thru it ok. I actually have 2 friends who died from the flu. No one from Covid. But, have friends/family who did
I agree. I have a healthy respect of Covid and an equal suspicion of the vax.
Because of my health issues from my bone marrow transplant, I’m carrying on as I have before Covid. - at home 99% of my life. I’ve done zero different because I was already doing what was advised. There’s not much different I can do other than get the vax. Which will not happen. I’m fully aware of my risks. I have a bad feeling about how it will effect me.
Yes.
It does.
You just did not have the media having a screeching fit over it and before 18 months ago you actually got treated quickly rather then the doctors going ok we need to see if you have the flavor of the month, the test will take days and we are going to delay any treatment and if it turns out you do not have the flavor of the month we are going to delay treatment some more. And test you repeatedly until you do. Or we can say you do.
That is the difference between what was and what is.
