Fox News can no longer bring its viewers live voyeuristic footage of desperate people huddled under a bridge in Texas—and its hosts are mad. Late Thursday, the Federal Aviation Administration brought in a two-week flight restriction over Del Rio, which means that Fox News has to ground the drone it’s been using to show the scene at International Bridge between Del Rio and Mexico’s Ciudad Acuña. At least 10,000 migrants, largely from Haiti, have gathered at the bridge, and Reuters reports the people are low on food and water as temperatures hit 99 degrees Fahrenheit. The FAA said the flight restriction was needed “due to drones interfering with law enforcement flights,” and the media can still “make requests to operate in the area.” Fox News hosts, who have been fear-mongering about the gathering all week, reacted to the ban with anger. Sean Hannity accused the FAA of “trying to prevent Fox’s drone from showing the American people the truth and capturing images just like this... The FAA is being used to cover up for Biden’s failures. And we are going to let that stand? I don’t think so.”
TFR’s are the new memory hole.
I had to work with the FAA after 911, the guy started his briefing with: “I’m from the FAA where we aren’t happy until you aren’t happy.”
While he said it as a joke there was a lot of truth to it.
“Afcrapistan”
Someone here called it Trashcanistan, which fits.
....agree....pretty much....!!! I am in my mid-70s so maybe that qualifies me as “old” but, yes, I DO mourn for what used to be the “real” America....a very sad situation.....we have that demented corrupt PoS in the White House who is doing everything he can do destroy this country.......
No reason to ban drones unless they are in the path of runways. The new media needs to do both bitch and make the public aware AND try to get distant shots.
Why did these “miggrants” chose Texas as their entry point?
Because this is yet another orchestrated event.
It could be even easier than that.
What is the fine if someone were to go ahead fly a drone?
Right???!!
This flight restriction only applies to drones below 1000’ above ground level. It’s a very easy thing to get a Cessna and fly over the area with an actual camera and shoot all the pictures you want. Expect fresh pictures/video today.
There are NO “migrants” anywhere near that bridge. They are ILLEGAL INVADERS. Migrants enter a country LEGALLY. ILLEGAL INVADERS do not!
The story is always “Republicans pounce ...”
Now yer talking!
Tucker promised a “new approach” last night...
Some criticize Fox News for its coverage... now, that problem is solved! Fox is being directly censored by the Federal Government. If Biden can hold it together for just a while longer, he will have imported more than a million “New Replacement Citizens and Democrat Voters” before Fall.
If Fox News really wanted to get the Democrat’s goat... they would show a running onscreen tally of illegals pouring into the US, including deaths while crossing the desert, or swimming the Rio Grande, the number of children destroyed by the sex trafficking Biden condones, and the number of Americans dead from Chinese Fentanyl, also an illegal Southern border import. CNN had it’s COVID death stats onscreen continuously. Fox should reciprocate.
Abuse of power. I’ll wait patiently until the impeachment begins... any time now...
In 2010, The Daily Beast merged with the magazine Newsweek creating a combined company, The Newsweek Daily Beast Company. The merger ended in 2013, when Daily Beast owner IAC sold Newsweek to IBT Media, owner of the International Business Times. Daily Beast, Newsweek and Intl Bus Times form part of the Deep State’s dependable media.
“Ten bucks says someone figures this out in the next 72 hours.”
Just paint CNN on the side and send it back up.
Fox was complicit in Biden being inaugurated. Now that he’s raining on their parade their panties are in a wad. They need to embrace the suck and realize that things will get worse for them before they get better.
Actually the FAA ban only covers HALF of the airspace over the bridge. There is another country there, and they don’t need to listen to the FAA (although I don’t know their drone rules).
