The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) instituted a two-week flight restriction over the city of Del Rio, Texas late Thursday — preventing Fox News from operating a drone that it had been using to capture images of thousands of migrants sheltering under a bridge as they wait to be picked up by Border Patrol.
The FAA’s website said that the Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) over the Del Rio Port of Entry and the International Bridge was put in place for “Special Security Reasons,” but did not elaborate.
In a statement, the FAA said, “the Border Patrol requested the temporary flight restriction due to drones interfering with law enforcement flights on the border. As with any temporary flight restriction, media is able to call the FAA to make requests to operate in the area.”
Fox News national correspondent Bill Melguin told Tucker Carlson Thursday night that he found the timing and location of the TFR to be “a little bit curious.”
“I just want to point out, Fox News has been at the border for the better part of seven months now,” Melugin said. “We’ve been using the drone the entire time. It’s never been an issue. All of a sudden, the last 24 hours, we start showing these images at this bridge and a TFR goes up. We can no longer fly.”

Time for a caravan of 20,000 drones launched by individuals to go there, record reality, and spell out “The whole world is watching” in the sky. What could they do?
Pure CENSORSHIP.
Tucker promised another approach last night...
I hope those people have all their vaccinations for covid in order.
Ordered by biden, who doesn’t want anyone to know what he is doing. All the other media have obeyed and covered up for him. Fox hasn’t.
Simply stated and right to the point!🙂👍
If a drone is small enough, isn’t it exempt from FAA rules?
Hopefully some citizens with small camera drones will go film there and send it to Tucker
Anyone going along with the feds right now is part of the problem.
I suggest Fox News double the number of drone flights, this is a 1st Amendment issue. If a few drones are arrested oh well......
I don't know about that. Try flying one near an airport.
Of course. That and the white house. My point is that at a certain size, you need a special license to fly one at all. Originally, it was an actual pilot’s license until they came up with a special drone license. I would imagine fox uses one that requires a license from the FAA which made it easy to shut it down.
Hopefully some concerned citizens with small, license free drones will take video, post it to social media and ping fox news. Tucker has every right to show something found on the web, FAA be damned.
This should not keep people from videotaping this horrendous disaster of invading migrants who are dangerous as hell! Send videos off to Fox. Their problem solved
What I wanna know is who is sending these folks across an ocean? I am beginning to think oil tankers are being hired to transport these people. There is no Freaking Way. I suspect The UN and the Billionaires from America are funding those ships. Why isn’t any journalist with integrity going out there and finding out who the hell is paying for these folks to cross a vast ocean. I guess they were serious when they said the great reset is upon us! Haiti people from those nations are the most dangerous along with Afghanistans and Somalians they will in a heartbeat kill you off. Between those people and the Hispanics immigrants I’ll take the Hispanics ...at least they have a little bit of christ religion in them.
Makes sense. A good YouTube or TikTok video will be around the world before the FAA knows what hit them.

Texas law enforcement flies Fox around in chopper so they can continue filming.....
Some Fox news men rode in a Texas police or military helicopter earlier Friday. Take that, Biden Admin.
Great idea!
