Insider and Decision Desk HQ are projecting that Gov. Gavin Newsom will survive the California gubernatorial recall. Decision Desk called the race at 8:21 p.m. PT and 11:21 p.m ET. Per this projected call Newsom will remain governor of California.

They've been counting the mail in votes as they arrived for weeks. That's what was announced right after the close.
And now Newsom’s unleashed to have his way like never before.
This recall was really never in doubt, but the margin of victory is a bit surprising. Apparently, Cali voters have that “he may be an SOB, but he’s our SOB” mindset. They love their guv.
67% reported this far. The only question now is whether Newsom reaches 70% of support.

FWIW, I’d be amazed if they went that route again.
I think they counted on ginning up hundreds of thousands of fake ballots so they could toss the yes votes, literally in the trash and/or using software, and have plenty of spare fake no votes to make up the numbers.
Newsom is up by about 2.6 million votes currently. If the fraud is that widespread then it shouldn't be hard to prove.
Who says there was cheating?
With 130% of the voting public counted they obviously want Newsome style of dictatorship.

It’s how Venezuela fell. Once the underclass (including illegal immigrants from neighboring countries) achieved critical mass, they voted communists into power, under the promise that the wealth of the middle class would be confiscated and distributed to the underclass.
